Want to read a great example of how fools reveal themselves with hasty words? Interested read on.

Many faith believers who may have tried to debate with an atheist will sooner or later catch on to the pointlessness of trying to debate this issue with “hard evidence.” when neither party can produce “hard evidence” of faith or lack of faith in a God.

My personal opinion is as long a person is righteous, even though he is an atheist, oh well, so be it. However, a few days ago an atheist prodded me with his standard modus operandi of asking me a question and then when I answer,  he will ask me to prove my  belief with “hard evidence.”  I decided to turn the tables instead by asking him to prove his non-belief. This obviously upset the atheist to a point of revealing his intrigue.  How? Read on, and I will explain if you are interested.

The hasty words example began with my comment on a post of Citizen Tom and, ironically titled Why Would a Man Hang Himself. HERE  If you read the series of comments between me, “scatterwisdom” and, “Arkenatem,” you may sense frustration gather and culminate with this statement which I believe Arkenatem reveals himself by accusing me of intriguing him, to do what his words reveal he was planning to do to me.

Well I can hardly comply with your request for any evidence if you steadfastly refuse to give me the name of the god you refer to. And I have asked politely on every single reply since you opened this thread. In my mind it would be dreadfully presumptuous of me to simply pick any old god and then attempt to fulfill your request.
Honestly, I cannot understand why you are being so obtuse.
But if you wish to discontinue this charade and revel in your own form of petty oneupmanship and now wish to behave like a bit of a chump then by all means, invoke which ever text your heart desires.
Do you feel better now? I am happy for you!

The point of this post is to convey this example to the wisdom of these three King Solomon Proverbs.

He who lays plans to do evil gets the name “Intriguer. (Proverb 24:8):

A fool gives expression to every angry impulse, but a wise man keeps them in check. (Proverb 29:11)

You have seen a man of impetuous speech? There is more hope for a fool than him. (Proverb 29: 20)

One aspect of provocative behavior of (v 8) or the explosive behavior of  (v 11) is the way to which they speak. The misuse of language, whether it is the liability to a passionate outburst of speech or the malevolent design to set men against each other with words which wound self-esteem, and  inflame passions, is an extreme expression of folly. In (v 20) it is the ill-considered, rash and hasty utterance which comes under fire. Whoever speaks before he has had leisure to think, and to weigh carefully the form of words which is most judicious and effective, is a fool of the worst kind. (Excerpts Proverbs Mc Kane)

Arkenatem may not take kindly to this post, not because of wounded pride but because he is an atheist.  Atheists do not understand that because of their rejection of God, they lack His Divine Power to dispel evil influences that will confront them in life. Allow me to explain this further.

In a novel excerpt, I surmised how King Solomon, based on his proverbs, may have explained this to the Queen of Sheba. The novel is a contemporary application to relate God’s timeless wisdom to our modern world. Proverbs and wise sayings teach us to succeed in life, sometimes called “the granddaddy of every self-improvement book ever written.”

“Solomon, there are many people that live their lives in righteousness, yet do not believe in any god. What have you to say about them?”

“Bilqis, nonbelievers will never experience the inner peace and tranquility afforded to a person of faith. They are likely to live a life searching for flighty earthly pleasures and always be on guard of losing their life, wealth, or possessions. Do you believe that there are forces of good and evil that exists?”

“Yes, judging by the conduct of some people. Why do you ask?”

“Because I believe we must always be wary of a nonbeliever because regardless of how wise they believe themselves to be, they are incapable to ward off powerful evil influences without help from a more powerful god. We believe a wise person knows his limitations and will seek help from Yahweh to relinquish evil from their presence.” Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear Yahweh and relinquish evil. (Proverb 3:7)

“Some non-believers may entertain each other by demeaning people of faith. However, they fail to comprehend the reality of the wisdom of creation. They are fools when they demean people of faith when they themselves cannot explain the mysteries of creation. In my opinion, they lack discernment of considering their fate when they die if they became influenced by evil.”

“Solomon, what is your definition of a fool?”

“There are various definitions to describe a fool. A person becomes a fool when they act immoral. There are fools that lack ability to discern and as a result can easily be taken advantage of. Then there are fools that in spite of the training given them make poor judgments or lack common sense. Another type of fool is one who attempts to bring about laughter by making foolish remarks or actions. I described this type of fool who demeans others about their faith. So too do listeners of fools become fools when they share in the laughter or beliefs of a fool.”

Regards and goodwill blogging.  Pray for all atheists as I do.
