Are lack of opportunity and jobs the core reasons for the Violence Diseases plaguing our Cities and Nation?

A Chicago Tribune seasoned reporter  on February 7, 2017 wrote in a column  titled, Even for Reporters, Sad Tales Too Much to Bear, and made this statement.

“The city’s violence is a symptom of a deeper disease plaguing some neighborhoods on the South and West sides — namely a lack of jobs and opportunities in communities that once buzzed with skilled and unskilled labor.”

In My Opinion

Yes, I believe most people will agree the lack of job opportunities is a weight variable that adds to the “disease” of Chicago Violence. However, there are other “disease factors” that I believe add far greater weights to the core diagnoses of  reasons for Chicago Violence according to other articles.

You Decide

Which diagnosis of reasons do you believe adds greater weight or severity to the causes for the violence diseases plaguing Chicago and other of our Nations Cities?

In My Opinion

The best prescription to cure the spread of the plague of these diseases to prevent more Violence Folly is to admister a very large dose of Wisdom every day, and twice on Sundays.
