Do you ever wonder if you are wasting your time blogging inspirational posts?
King Solomon wrote these Versus of Wisdom in Chapter 11 of his Ecclesiastes which may help answer this question. I think this question applies especially to Religious Clerics, Teachers, and Medical Personnel who daily go about their lives, preach, teach, serve, and engage in acts of goodwill. I believe these verses might also be inspirational to any person if they ever wonder if their actions or efforts were effective pr worthwhile….
Sow your seed in the morning,
and at evening let your hands not be idle,
for you do not know which will succeed,
whether this or that,
or whether both will do equally well.
In other words, you may never know for certain if what you say or do will succeed to have a favorable or even unfavorable result. However, if you do nothing, there will never be for certain any “this or that” result .

Isaiah 49 is my go to for if it matters what we do. And yes, even if we were to only reach one soul…it will matter in a hundred million years…this work is the eternal work.

It’s funny, I was just asking myself this question on this morning. But then I had to realize who I’m doing it for. Allowing the gift that I feel that God has put in me to go to waste because of my feelings and emotions, would be a waste. Thanks for the encouragement!!
