Where are they now? All those celebrities who said if Trump won, they would leave the USA?
Citizen Tom made the following comment in his post titled, Am I a White Supremacist?
“Interesting how people say things they don’t actually believe. They say they are going to leave the country. They don’t. Then they call other people liars? And they don’t get it when other people don’t take them seriously.”
It brought to mind all the celebrities who made statements that if Trump won the election, they would leave the country. I found a post which answered my question. It is in the Source Links below if anyone is interested. It also brought to mind the following Proverb
King Solomon
Clouds and wind and no rain, a man who boasts about a non-existent gift. (Proverb 25:14)
Their words are empty, same as deceptive clouds and wind that produce no rain. I believed Hiram to be a man of iron, not a man of straw with empty words.
Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues. (Proverb 17:28)
In My Opinion
The celebrities seem to have a problem with reality and wisdom. Perhaps they should just stick to the Hollywood scripts given them and keep their political opinions to themselves so people will think they are wise instead of proving otherwise.
In the modern world, the celebrities would be identified as “empty suits ” rather than in ancient times as “empty clouds “
In any sphere of time or space, they and the terms are one and the same.
You Decide
If you decide to read the listing, will every time you hear or see them think about an empty suit, a empty cloud, a blowing wind, or perhaps a empty headed fool?
What odds are that any of them will ever leave the good old USA?

I have often said, that these people spend so much time pretending to be other people, that they don’t know how to be the real person they are.

Kind of scary though, that one of them on the list is a Supreme Court Justice of the USA.
Perhaps with a case of dementia brewing at her age?

I suspect the problem is more fundamental. Being an actor is a business. Being an actor is also an ego trip. When we are the center of attention, we tend to think of ourselves as important. When an actor treats acting as a business, he can keep his mouth shut and just do his job. When an actor treats acting as an ego trip, he can’t.

Center of attention, craving attention, vanity, ego, all potential
human addictions, similar to becoming high on drugs.
Once ingested, hard to control what a person says or does, in my opinion.
