Care to guess why this three-week-old baby made this face?
In a previous post titled, King Solomon, Abortion, Funny or Sad, a friend suggested I should try to lighten up my blog. So how does one lighten up on the subject of abortion and inspire wisdom at the same time?
The previous post described a pro-abortion message by a comedian.
King Solomon
Even King Solomon recognized there will be different times in everyone’s life when he wrote this verse.
A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance.( Ecclesiastes 3:4)
Even in laughter the heart may ache, and joy may end in sorrow. (Proverb 14:13)
What’s My Point?
Today my forty-one-year-old daughter send me a photo of her three-week-old newborn son.
I imagined what she may have thought about when she discovered she was pregnant in her forties after listening to her doctors explain the risks of pregnancy at her age and health conditions.
Thankfully though, he is healthy and In the past three weeks, the newborn has brought visits and a lot of laughter to both our families.
In My Opinion
Aa newborn has a unique way of time of instilling joy and drawing families together.
You Decide
Whether it is coincidence or providence, I decided to add the following caption for the above picture in hopes of lightening up the subject of abortion and the wisdom of the joy a newborn brings to a family, and parents who would never consider abortion as a choice.
You decide if my message is more humorous and conveys a wiser message in life than the comedian’s message..
Picture Caption
Imagine if her son facial expression in the above picture of my new grandson was a reaction to his understand his mother explaining her possible thoughts when she first found out she was pregnant.
“Mom, did you just say you were thinking about aborting me!”

Thanks. He is a a blessing and beautiful boy.
At three weeks, his eye are learning to focus. Babies don’t see clearly for eight weeks.

Some never have the wisdom to see clearly. I expect that little one won’t lack for instruction.

Hopefully, he will read my writings, and decide for himself whether or not his grandpa was wise or foolish.
