Interested in the reason for the possible choice of the adjective this minister prayed to be bestowed on President Trump?
The Chicago Tribune Article titled, Freed by Turkey and back in the USA, pastor prays with Trump, reported this statement.
“The pastor then went on one knee and prayed for the President to be blessed with “supernatural wisdom.”
Purpose of this Post
To examine the reason why the pastor chose to use the adjective “supernatural” to explain what he really was praying for, and why it is sad, in my opinion.
Adjective Definitions
Natural, existing in or caused by nature; not made or caused by humankind.
Spiritual, relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things
Relating to religion or religious belief.
Supernatural, (of a manifestation or event) attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature.
Wisdom, sapience, or sagacity, is the ability to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense and insight.
King Solomon
6For the LORD gives wisdom;
from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk with integrity,
8to guard the paths of justice
and protect the way of His saints.
9Then you will discern righteousness and justice and equity—
every good path.
10For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will delight your soul.
11Discretion will watch over you,
and understanding will guard you,
12to deliver you from the way of evil (Proverbs 2:6-12),
6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverb 22:6)
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”— (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
What’s My Point?
Parables were used in ancient times to help teach people who had no formal education to relate to a speakers’ message in terms they could relate to understanding his message.
This pastor emulated Jesus Christ’s Biblical method of using parables to convey the understanding of the intent of what he prays for President Trump to obtain “supernatural wisdom,” rather than “Spiritual Wisdom.”
In the USA today, there are no public schools that teach Spiritual Wisdom, only private religious schools. However, Hollywood teaches our children to relate to characters like Superman, X-Men, etc., all having supernatural powers to ward off “the bad guy,” another name for the “wicked ones or the Evil One, taught in the Bible.
In previous posts, I explained why average people who want to send their kids to a private school to learn about Spiritual Wisdom can no longer afford to pay the tuition, mainly because government-run public schools are funded by taxes that have risen in costs over time, it prevents affordability for parents to pay for both government-run and private schooling.
In other words, the USA, parents have the freedom to send their kids to private schools, but the government suppresses their freedom by mandating they also pay for public schools, but cannot afford both.
The result is the pastor has to return to using the ancient method of parables to explain what he is actually praying for Spiritual Wisdom. That is sad because too many people in the USA are slowly not understanding the meaning of Spiritual Wisdom.
In My Opinion
School vouchers will allow parents to choose for their children to be taught moral disciplines of their religious faith.
Teaching unions should not fear school vouchers because regardless of what school a child is taught, public or private school, teachers are needed and employed.
In another previous post in the Source Links below, Citizen Tom and I tried to convert to another blogger her interpretation of separation of Religion from State is so she can have “freedom from religion” when if fact, it is the freedom to choose religion.
However, if I may use a parable to explain my opinion if you empty the pockets of parents to afford to feed their children’s stomachs, they have no money to obtain to pay to feed the minds of their children with Spiritual wisdom.
You Decide
Will school vouchers help or hinder teaching Spiritual wisdom to our children to understand the real meaning of life, rather than what Hollywood is teaching them?
Which “force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature,” do you prefer your children believe they should address their prayers, Superman, Xman, etc., or God?
Are our children listening to wise or foolish parables in their schools?
Regards and good will blogging.

Rudy begins his post by discussing the choice of a word. Why are words important? If we don’t understand a word, we don’t understand the concept that word represents.
Do you love your children? Do you believe your neighbors have the right to practice their own religious beliefs. Do you believe your neighbors have the right to pass their beliefs on to their children? Are you opposed to a godless state exercising unfettered power? Then please fight for school choice.

I am saying that if one throws enough s*** against a wall some is bound to stick. He’s not different. He may get an occasional hit.. the real question is.. was that hit worth the entire game we are calling a presidency?

These days there’s enough of that to go around, I’m afraid.

School vouchers would be absolutely fine for those who wish to use them if only the “Private” schools they would be using them in weren’t in such dire straits financially and morally. Here where I live, the so-called Charter Schools are shutting their doors forever by the drove because they get caught falsifyiing attendance records in order to obtain more money or they simply mismanage their funds to the point of public outrage.

I agree it is prudent to establish oversight for any use of Govsrnment funding.
That issue to me, while necessary, is minor compared to all the other issues we’re experiencing by not allowing religious morals and discipline being taught in schools.

There was a time when we did allow religious and moral teaching in our schools and I believe the country was a lot better off because of it. But then along came the secularists and that heralded the end of a good thing. Now, Godlessness is being set into motion in almost every aspect of American Life and the powers that be are apparently tryiung to write God out of existence here in the Land of the Free. Sad, sad, sad! Most great countries begin their decline when their faith systems come under attack. America is in dire need of a revival — and the sooner the better.

I concur a need for religious revival would benefit the future of our Republic.
It can only begin with teaching children to carry on the teachings in their future. For present generations, it is apparent in the news of the madness and folly King Solomon observed 3000 years ago is being repeated in every generation since and will worsen in my opinion if we continue not teaching Wisdom of God.
