Will the only thing that may prevent Illinois from approving recreational marijuana isto pray for our new elected Governor Pritzker?
The Chicago Tribune Editorial titled, Recreational Marijuana, gave a compelling opinion with reasoning why not to rush into approving legalized recreational marijuana in Illinois.
A CNN report in October 2018 reported States that legalized recreational marijuana comparisons indicate States that approved, are having higher accident rates and records of drivers under the influence of marijuana.
Not everyone involved in any traffic accident is tested for drugs because of lack of technology to spot check marijuana influence similar to alcohol.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to compliment the Chicago Tribune Editorial to recommend Illinois Politicians not to foolishly to approving recreational marijuana in Illinois.
And, to recommend everyone in Illinois to consider praying for Illinois drivers.
8 Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number. 9 So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” (Kings 3:5)
What’s My Point?
Illinois new Governor elect approves recreational marijuana, whereas the previous Governor Rauner did not.
In My Opinion
After reading the Chicago Tribune Editorial, and having observed Illinois politicians for 78 years, the only thing that will prevent Illinois from rushing in to approve recreational marijuana is prayer.
