Should you tell your children the truth about marijuana and the danger of mental illness and violence, or scorn this author’s message?

The Chicago Tribune article titled What Others are Saying, reported an Alex Berenson authored book titled, Tell your children. The Truth about Marijuana, Mental Illness, and Violence.

His message is “swimming against the tide” by the current mania of State legislators rushing to legalize recreational marijuana.

Rushing to obtain new tax revenue, along with sellers and investors are licking their lips in anticipation of huge profits.

The Purpose of This Post

Is to make readers aware that every medical professional knows the truth that marijuana is health debilitating, police are advising against it, yet most news sources, public, and politicians are scorning the warnings.

This new book reveals another link to mental illness and violence. The author purpose is to warn parents to warn their children the truth about recreational marijuana.

King Solomon

A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke. (Proverb 13:1)

A wise son heareth his father’s instruction, As he should, and has good reason to do; since it must be cordial, faithful, and disinterested, as well as the effect of age and experience.

So scornful men, that make a jest of everything that is sacred, will not hearken to the reproof …

What’s My Point?

I have written numerous posts expressing my opinion that legalizing recreational marijuana is folly for various reasons.

This book adds one more reason.
