Is the objective logic reason for the stalemate wise, foolish, or something else?
I don’t know about you, but I am fed up with reading and listening to the news about the government shutdown. Is the shutdown somehow related to wisdom or folly of a man or a woman, or a sexist bias in a leadership role?
If not based on a sexist bias, what is an objective logic reason for the stalemate?
The Purpose of this Post
Is to explore the ancient wisdom of King Solomon’s wisdom to try to understand why the current shutdown is a result of the minds, or genders, or something else?
The answer to test the logic cannot be subjective, it must brave an objective test to measure…
King Solomon
Fight your own case with your neighbor, and do not reveal another’s confidences. (Proverb, 25:9)
There should be a direct and honorable confrontation, and resort should not be had to devious and cowardly maneuvers in which others are used as cats’ paws.
What’s My Point?
King Solomon personified both wisdom and folly as a woman.
“The personification of both wisdom and folly as two different women presents the benefits of wisdom and the judgment associated with folly. A woman of wisdom benefits her husband, just as a woman of folly can destroy a husband.”
To solve this riddle, I believe we need to first decide if the role of Pelosi based in her role of being a Goddess of Wisdom, or a woman of folly trying to destroy? Or in our contemporary world where sexist bias is not legal, the same role criteria must apply to Trump.
If it is wisdom, I wonder what the logic is to reopen the government before discussing a border wall. That is because politicians have been discussing illegal immigration ever since the last amnesty. That was in 1986 which was supposed to end illegal immigration and obviously has not worked based on the new estimate 25 million more illegal immigrants being in the USA.
In other words, what makes Pelosi or any politician wise or logical believe that discussing this issue for 33 years did not work before, why will it work now?
If her role is folly, who or what is she trying to destroy? Her dislike for Trump is obvious, but if she succeeds in destroying Trump, will that solve the illegal immigration problem?
In My Opinion
The real answer to describe the stalemate reason of the politicians taking 33 years to discuss this issue is related to both wisdom and folly.
Both Pelosi and Trump as leaders are using the government workers same as cats’ paws in the above proverb.
Both would fail the objective test for being in violation of the 5th objection reason because of the effect is having on our Nation for not solving this issue.
If Interested,
Read the previous post and discern the answer to whar is “something else?”
You Decide
Do you agree the test criteria is objective?
If so, which one’s logic, will subject him or her, or both, to incur the word that describes their actions for violating the 5th objective test listed to the effect of our Nation.

Solving the immigration “problem” does not begin with a wall. In fact, what does Solomon say about building walls between people?

I do not believe this issue is “above any pay grade, “or ever has been for the last 33 years.
Doug, with your military experience, I also don’t believe you can state that a wall or fence is not an effective means of control or a much less expensive means over time.
For example, in my experience with the police, I know policing behind a barrier is a much more effective way to control people from running past you
Incidentally, if you ever had to run after a teenager especially wearing police gear, it is almost hopeless trying to catch them. Police are not in the shape you see on tv or movies. Or do they possess any superhero or superchargers on them when they chase someone?
As for sensors, being effective, by the time a sensor goes off in a desert or bush or tree area and border police finally get there, the chance of finding them in the dark is almost nil.
The only sensor I know that might slow down someone is a landmine.
Doug, in case you forgot, just about every military base is surrounded by a fence or wall, same as Pelosi house and her armed guards.
As for the cost, it is almost silly to compare paying 25 billion for a barrier instead of paying 125 billion or maybe 275 billion a year on social services for illegal immigrants.
As for the present government workers who are guaranteed to be paid when this fiasco ends, a simple bill to guarantee any loans on debit cards from a local bank to tie them over until Congress wakes up from their comatose views on this issue.

What I am trying to say, Rudy, is that at this point in the game I feel like my voice is useless and that no one up on the hill cares one fig what I or anyone else really thinks unless of course it is their voting base.
There is a middle ground, but neither the Democrats nor the Republicans want to inhabit that middle ground because they know that the nation by in large is completely polarized over this issue and the first one to go to that middle ground is going to lose respect from the half of the country they play to.
I get no vote on a wall and I get no vote on a shut down except when I vote for the people in power, and as far as I am concerned they have all lost my votes at this point. My Senators and my Congressmen ( who are Democrats), my President who I voted for will not have my votes come election time and this time it doesn’t really matter to me who is on the other side (like it did last time). When the game comes around again, this team just doesn’t get picked for the next Superbowl! I’ll write in my Pastors name if that’s the best choice on the field.
Now while I have absolutely zero pull with anyone up there, I am surrounded by people who are about to be hit very hard by the shut down. If I were on a border state I would feel the same about the wall and I would be approaching this from their standpoint. That said I can do absolutely nothing about either the wall or the shut down other than remember the people who made the decisions I agree and disagree with and vote when the opportunity comes.
I have to say who is right and who is wrong and why they are that way is not the most important question for the grass roots right now. We will deal with them in the voting box later. While Capitol Hill and the White House seem to have the luxury of turning this into a philosophical issue about the morality of walls and the dangerousness of foreigners, the 83 year old lady living on her $900.00 social security check who just found out she has to come up with $700.00 for rent next month doesn’t. We who live among those 83 year-olds and among the single moms who just got their last food stamps need to pay attention to what is in front of us. Nancy and Donald have their battle to fight and we have ours. I am watching them and I have opinions for sure but right now I am more focused on keeping the people I am actually responsible for from going down the drain because Trump and Pelosi are having trouble figuring out how to do their jobs.

You are absolutely correct, Joseph. There is a greater morality to all this. Now consider this thought for a moment. The House has presented a bill to keep government running. Technically, their job is done. The budgetary running of government has nothing to do with immigration policy reform.. nothing. The President is refusing to sign off on the government extension indefinitely in order to hold hostage 900,000 government employees and place our economy and national security at risk for his version of an immigration policy. Morally, it matters not in the least as to the reason the President is not stopping the shutdown. Not a thing. It’s inevitable someone will die sooner or later as a direct result of the shutdown.. and/or some terrorist event will occur that would not have otherwise. The President himself is a clear and present danger to the security of the nation.

Doug has inserted the word “morality” in his reply and a statement that “the House budgetary running of government has nothing to do with immigration policy reform. nothing.”
In tomorrow’s Post I answered the question Doug’s commented in this post, “What does Solomon say about building walls between people? ”
Included is information of how “immoral and hypocritical” in my opinion, it is for the House to approve funding for walls everywhere else in the world except the USA.
Sad.

Correct and it is in my community where my job resides doing what I can to see to it that the people in my circle are kept from harm because the government at the top has stopped doing its job. That of course is not a condition unknown on the Earth. It is just that here for the last several generations in America we have become a bit unused to not being covered by a safety net from the government. In the eyes of Providence this may be a good thing if it reconnects us as communities and gets us relying on each other again.

Wow, great literary choice to compare PelosiTrump times being repeated in our Nation. I’m impressed. May even borrow your observation for a future post.
By the way, I keep trying to comment on your blog with different names and still cant.

Rudy.. I just replied to two “Anonymous” test replies you posted. Not sure why you wanna use anonymous anyway. Maybe you need to fill out all three fields below the reply field.. Name, email, and url… before it will take properly. It fills in all caps in those fields.

I tried anonymous because when I filled out under both my name and scatterwisdom they never show up.
Maybe you got mad when I commented a truth and blocked me out?

Joseph.
i can relate to your concerns about having no vote in a State where Democrats will always be reelected regardless of our State being ranked 49th in comparison to other States.
As for trying to be focused on others being affected by Trump and Pelosi, the rich vs. the poor treatment in the world, sad, but what can anyone do other than to be charitable if you can.

The question of “if you can” has been removed from us as an option. It is no longer ” if we can”. Since the government is not….WE MUST step into the gap in whatever way we can, and we can all do more than we think or have tried to this point. It is our comfort we are about to lose for a while. The Scriptural truth tells us that if one suffers we all do. As I said to Doug, perhaps this is Providence guiding us to the place we should be. In some ways maybe this cloud of stupidity has a silver lining.

I feel like the whole discussion is above my pay grade. Wall…no wall. Shut down….no shut down. Real people are being effected and in my mind this is the immediate issue. I am in no position to solve the congressional piece of this. If they cannot do their jobs then I will exercise my right to vote them all Democrat and Republican out of office in two years for their culpability. In the mean time we must survive this by helping each other. AS Section 8 subsidies go away this month and people start making choices between medication and rent, heat and hot dogs, we had all better get ready to jump in and lend a hand, make some soup and write some checks to help the poor among us.
