…. before you have sex whether you are married or single?
The Chicago Tribune article titled, Sex with HIV still divisive issue, reported: “It was something that needed to be done.”.
The Purpose of This Post
Is a private effort, since government won’t do anything, to make readers aware of your legal rights and responsibilities of what to ask before you have sex with a partner nowadays. It makes no difference whether you are married of single because statistics state that up to 22% of married couples cheat on their mates.
Who knows for certain how many unmarried do the same?
The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom. (Proverb 10:21 KJV)
What’s My Point(s)
- The Chicago Tribune article gives an idea of what happens legally if a person does not disclose, they have HIV to someone before they have sex.
- According to the CDC, Center for Disease Control, there are a lot of more sexually transmitted diseases floating around other the HIV which according to some State Law make it a legal matter to hash out in court is anyone gets HIV because they were not warned.
- There are millions of people wandering around with HIV that do not even know they have HIV along with 60 million others who have contracted other sexually transmitted diseases.
- There is a significant percentage of married couples or single that cheat on each other going on since the beginning of recorded history.
My point is as I explained in a previous post, the USA is lacking in public awareness and so I have decided to fill the gap by writing this post.
In My Opinion
We voters in the USA are fools for the reasons I explained why in the previous post.
If you agree, tell a friend. If not, sorry to have bothered you.
Just so you know, another sad fact, is that whether or not you are wise or foolish, once someone obtains a Sexual Transmitted Disease, everyone will pay higher pooled taxes or insurance fees to hopefully cure or treated the disease. HIV infected will incur an estimated one half million dollars in their lifetime and the disease is estimated to shorten their lifespan by up to 2o years.
Read the articles in the Source Links Below about these issues.
If after reading, is it wise to ask first because if you don’t, no one will warn you including your government. Also keep in mind that not everyone sexually aroused is interested in either the truth of risks of engaging in sex before they engage.
Do you believe the Chicago Tribune article title that once a person finds out he has contracted a sexually transmitted disease that it might become a divisive issue, especially if married?
