lack of wisdom by parents or government on religion and guns?
Definition of Sanguinary
involving or causing much bloodshed.
I read an excellent post which in my opinion begs to question what is the legal definition of what is or what is not a legal definition of “religion” in the USA.
The USA Democratic Republic is probably the most religious diverse nation in the world with a Constitutional Rights for a person to choose whatever religion they believe.
Someone estimated there are 400 million guns in the USA?
“While the United States does have an unusually high rate of gun violence and mass shootings for a highly developed and wealthy nation, it is a common misconception it is the worst country in the world in terms of mass shooting rates. The truth of the matter is that the United States is actually number sixty-six on the list of countries in terms of mass shooting rates per capita, but they have had more mass shootings than any other country in terms of overall numbers.”
“Train up a child in the way he should go;
Even when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverb 22:6)
What’s My Point?
The USA Rights protect the Rights to choose a religion while at the same time make it unaffordable for most parents to choose to send their child to a private school to teach their religious values.
In the meantime, ever since the Supreme Court ruled religion Court ruled religion cannot be taught in public schools, mass sanguinary shootings are occurring in the USA.
There is political controversy if the core reasons of shootings are guns or decrease in teaching religion.
School vouchers could solve the teaching core reason, and better regulations might reduce the availability of guns, doing both can certainly reduce the flow of blood in the USA.
However, the problem of school vouchers is the absence of what is or is not a religion in the USA because while the Supreme Court and Tax Laws offer guidelines, there is no legal definition to discern what religious beliefs are a religion or a political entity.
In My Opinion
It is time for the Congress and the Supreme Court to define a pragmatic definition and guidelines on the Rights of religion and guns.
Read two post links below and If after reading this post on the history of Pakistan beginning statement vs. what transpired.
“Islam and its idealism have taught us democracy. It has taught equality of man, justice and fair play to everybody. In any case, Pakistan is not going to be a theocratic State to be ruled by priests with a divine mission.”
Is the USA on these two issues “a fools paradise” because of lack of wisdom by political leaders to define and interpret Constitutional Rights?
If so, does the term “fools paradise” the result of lack of wisdom by the leaders or voters?
Would you agree with this quote?
“A fool’s Paradise is a wise man’s Hell” – Thomas Fuller, English Historian
