Has government run education, crony capitalist mass media, too many immigrants, and the wealth gap between rich and poor social stratification now reached the point of no return in the USA?
The Purpose of This Post
Is to convey awareness for interested Americans to discern if ancient wisdom proverbs of warning advices will once again repeat.
King Solomon
And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done. (Ecclesiastes 2:12)
So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof. (Proverbs 1:19)
As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly. (Proverb 26:11)
What’s My Point?
After reading a Citizen Tom post titled, Destroyed by Trojan Horses, I wonder if the USA has reached the point of no return to repeat the same failure as King Solomon’s reign.
Epilogue
As God told him, the legacy of his turning was a divided kingdom. In the reign of Rehoboam his son the Kingdom of Israel divided from Judah as a result of Solomon’s increasingly oppressive (taxing and debt) policies. When Rehoboam followed his father’s misguided policies the ten tribes in the north had enough and they divided from Judah. The great unified kingdom had ended and within less than 200 years Israel (721 BC) and later Judah (587 BC) were invaded and destroyed.
My point is the USA present National Debt, coupled with the present political divisiveness, in a similar time period of approximately 200 years may have or will result in the same above Epilogue.
In My Opinion
Everyone should read Citizen Tom’s post and discern if the USA has reached the point of no return and is now on the way to repeat the same folly of failed Socialism.
Also, to consider if the wealth gap from rich or poor is about to end same as in past revolutions.
If Interested
Read the Source Links below carefully and discern for yourself if sadly, the USA has reached the point of no return.
You Decide
If you agree, should you reblog his post and also send it to your Congressman?
If you do not agree, time will decide if the USA will repeat the same above Epilogue as numerous Nations as recorded in history.
Regards and goodwill blogging.

Appreciate the links and the thoughts. Had not thought of discussing social stratification with respect to my post, but the things I mention do lead to increase separation between our elites and the rest of us.
Is that separation just the result of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer? No. We also don’t share the same values. Progressives (Socialists) and Constitutional Conservatives maintain radically different beliefs.
Imagine being a 1st Century Christian surrounded by Pagans. Those Pagans would have being thoroughly confused by your beliefs, and the strangeness of what you believe would have frightened and anger them. What kind of worshiper eats his god? Who dares to call my god worthless?
Increasingly, Americans find Christians and Christianity foreign. Most of us never study the Bible, and much of what we believe is not true. Much of the instruction we receive from academia and the news media is hostile to Christianity.
Why would government-run schools and a crony capitalist news media be hostile to Christianity? The problem is the same one the Roman Emperor confronted. Jesus explained the issue quite simply.
“Matthew 22:15-22 Good News Translation (GNT)
The Question about Paying Taxes
15 The Pharisees went off and made a plan to trap Jesus with questions. 16 Then they sent to him some of their disciples and some members of Herod’s party. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you tell the truth. You teach the truth about God’s will for people, without worrying about what others think, because you pay no attention to anyone’s status. 17 Tell us, then, what do you think? Is it against our Law to pay taxes to the Roman Emperor, or not?”
18 Jesus, however, was aware of their evil plan, and so he said, “You hypocrites! Why are you trying to trap me? 19 Show me the coin for paying the tax!”
They brought him the coin, 20 and he asked them, “Whose face and name are these?”
21 “The Emperor’s,” they answered.
So Jesus said to them, “Well, then, pay to the Emperor what belongs to the Emperor, and pay to God what belongs to God.”
22 When they heard this, they were amazed; and they left him and went away.”
We were made in the image of God. We have His image on us. We owe ourselves to Him, but when we elevate our leaders to a god-like status — when we worship the state — then our government demands of us what belongs only to God. Then Christians must refuse the improper demands of the state, even at the cost of their lives.

Tom,
I agree with you and your selection of Matthew.
However, the wealth gap in the world has become so gross that it is being noticed and fueling disdain with increasing anger by the poor and middle class.
Same as in past revolutions.
Sad

Socialism is a scam that results in such things.
