…and exacerbate business and workers?
The Chicago Tribune article titled, Former users warn marijuana users of addiction, reported this statement.
“The end stage of addiction is you lose your job, and when you lose your job you lose your insurance,” he said. That is an already underserved community, and we are going to continue to see that exacerbated.”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to link an ancient proverb to give an example of the folly being presented by liberal and socialistic government agendas exacerbate business and workers who pay taxes.
Exacerbate Definition
– make (a problem, bad situation, or negative feeling) worse. (google)
King Solomon
“The leech has two daughters. ‘Give! Give!’ they cry. “There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, ‘Enough!’: (Proverb 30:15)
Excerpt Gils Bible Commentary
and the fire that saith not, it is enough; but let what fuel will be cast into it, it devours it, and still wants more:
What’s My Point?
The article explains how 1 in 10 or 1 in 6 marijuana users will become addicted, perhaps lose their job, their insurance and then serve to exacerbate an already strained for funds government medical network.
Meanwhile, the news reports liberal Presidential candidates making promises to provide free medical care to everyone.
Problem is that not everyone either pays taxes or insurance premiums. If you add an incentive not to have to work to obtain or pay taxes or insurance premiums now being funded by businesses and workers, will that exacerbate the problems in a Nation with a present 22 TRILLION DOLLAR NATIONAL DEBT.
As for the present glee in Illinois that in a short time ten million dollars of taxes from recreational marijuana has been produced to fund everything other than the costs to rehabilitate the addicts who become addicted, will that add to the exacerbations of business and workers taxpayers?
In My Opinion
One of the problems of Obamacare is it covers evert medical ailment that may occur to an insured including foolish choices they may make that exacerbate needs for medical treatments such as drug addiction, STD, etc. etc.
Frankly, many people now work because they are afraid of losing medical insurance.
In history, a lot of Nations and leaders have failed over time, some lasted longer that the present USA has been in existence, and some a lot sooner.

You Decide
If you are a business or worker, are you exacerbated and concerned about the present paths of governing agendas in process or being proposed by political candidates both local and national?
If your are a business or worker, are you ever exacerbated when you hear government call ourt to you with the names of the proverbs two daughters?

Use of Recreational Marijuana Funds in Illinois
https://rudymartinka.com/2019/11/20/king-solomon-is-the-legal-recreational-marijuana-plan/
in the UK they have a national health service that is free to all, and it works admirably, perhaps in the U.S, the effort to privatize everything possible, including prisons, has led to a very one sided view of everything, which closes out other opinions. As Jesus said, everything was planted on the earth by the will of God, for the use of all people, and if addiction is the ruler we use when we analyze marijuana use, why don’t the government and others, apply the same logic to the addictive use of technologies, legal med too, not ignoring the TV, there are no slick answers, find post Rudy, they are always ask questions, amen.

I concur there are there are no “slick answers” to either health care or drug addictions. What we need are practical reality based on truthful information to find solutions and answers.
For example, you stated,
“in the UK they have a national health service that is free to all,” However, the service is paid by higher taxation, not free.
“in the U.S, the effort to privatize everything possible,” The reason is everything private usually costs less and provides better services than government.
“As Jesus said, everything was planted on the earth by the will of God,” Frankly, I really doubt marijuana was willed for recreational reasons, Perhaps it has a medicinal value or some environmental use,
Same for all the other addictions that are the result of foolish choices when people addict themselves.
Government has an addiction itself when it spends more than its taxes.
Frankly I believe both of us want everyone to have health care.
Politicians making promises without explaining their “slick plans” to accomplish their promises only serves to exacerbate problems of health care and drug addiction especially when they allow citizens not to work if they are able, or make foolish choices to make themselves sick and expect
someone else to pay for their free services..
Thanks for your comment.

cheers Rudy, i suppose society has to re access what it’s priorities are, the old model doesn’t seem to work, and that requires an acceptance of new ideas, amen or the return of ideals that were once important but overtaken by progress.
