What is the missing ingredient in the changing USA melting pot recipe that divides our Nation?

The Chicago Tribune Column titled: A red line from ‘colored’ to ‘people of color, reported the writers view of using her  ‘updated’ advice of words to use when they address ‘people of color.’

The Purpose of This Post

Is to convey the wisdom of King Solomon about what we should say, believe, and act between each other in comparison to the article subject of race and wealth inequality in a Nation described in history books as a ‘melting pot’ in the world of Nations.

Also, to compare the reality of the hypocrisy of how politicians and news media act to promote or exploit the issues that divide, instead of unite our Nation because of a missing ingredient once envisioned by our founders as a vital ingredient for our Nation to prevail over time.

King Solomon

The rich and the poor have this in common, The LORD is the maker of them all. (Proverb 22:2)

. 41 “As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your name— 42 for they will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm (Excerpt Kings Chapter 8)

What’s My Point?

The reality is that there are red lines of separation that exist in wealth and race in the USA melting pot.

There is also reality that politicians exploit the two issues that serve to separate rather than unite out Nation

In other words, the missing ingredient that our founders believed was needed for our Nation to unite all who choose to dwell and prevail in the melting pot Nation they envisioned.

In My Opinion

The missing ingredient that our Founders is Religion, Prayer and Faith in God.

Over time, mainly because of government control of our Nation’s schools which in the beginning taught faith. When in time the First Amendment was interpreted by the Supreme Court to make it illegal to teach religious faith in God, and to instead have faith in government.

The same government leaders that are now stating in the 2020 election that if we vote for them, they will solve all the problems of inequality that they now experience. For example, Joe Biden statement “this is your campaign” instead of “this is our Nation’s campaign.”

In my opinion, the USA needs more than a President to lead our Nation back to what our Founders envisioned

Read the Source Links Below which include King Solomon’s Prayers for the Dedication to the Temple he built to unite his Nation.

Then compare his words to the essay US History of Founder’s Faith

Pilgrim John Winthrop may have said it best nearly two centuries earlier: “For we must consider that we shall be as a City upon a Hill, the eyes of all people are upon us; so that if we shall deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken, and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a by-word through the world.”290

You Decide

Is being taught to have faith and belief we all have the same Maker who wants us to live side by side regardless of race, color, or creed a better Spiritual timeless and effective path of instruction to hopefully end inequality rather than more manmade fickle, feckless government laws?

Regards and goodwill blogging.
