What is the reason and why are the kits needed to help control the spread of the virus?
News articles of Senator B. Sanders remark in Sunday debate implied that test kits should have been available spurred my interest about the test kits.
In another article titled, Trump condemns CDC for lack of coronavirus testing, blames Obama.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to convey an article I read of the reasons why the availability of test kits is necessary to control the spread of coronavirus.
Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of one who has no sense.
The wise store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin. (Proverb 10:13,14)
What’s My Point?
The first above proverb indicates that in 3000 years ago, when someone spoke out in folly rather than first thinking or discerning, he lacked sense and deserved a rod beating. Today’s time, the proverb would be to make someone responsible for their actions rather than a beating them with a rod.
The second proverb is wisdom advice related we should store up knowledge to prevent rather than repeat the same folly from being repeated.
My point is hopefully we make use of the knowledge learned from this pandemic to use to better prepare for the next pandemic.
In My Opinion
I wrote a previous post to compare how Cuba quarantined their population at the outbreak of the HIV/AIDS and as a result had the least number of victims.
I believe Trump’s early actions to quarantine travelers from coronavirus affected world areas and his declaration National Emergency along with his decision to reach out to private industry to speed up testing rather than send samples for CDC tests only.
Read the articles in the Source Links below and previous post.
After you read the articles, is the decision made by the CDC decision the core cause for the shortage of USA test kits?
Will it be wiser for Nation to obtain knowledge from this coronavirus pandemic to prepare for the next be more helpful than politicians’ folly of pointing fingers at each other to defend themselves from reporters implied statements to blame Trump.
For example, the article never reported that Trump blamed Obama as the article title stated, did it? The article never quoted Trump using the word condemn did it?
Regards and goodwill blogging.
