Interested in Bible wisdom and love verses to discern, rather than judge, two conundrums in life we are now experiencing in our contemporary times?
The Chicago Tribune is reporting on two articles. One is President Trump or State Governors has the authority to lift the quarantine. The other reporting is an Illinois poll worker died and the city is warning others they may have been exposed during the election.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate ancient proverb and Bible verses to this sad occurrence for readers to discern.
King Solomon
Bible Old Testament – Wisdom
30They accepted none of my counsel; they despised all my reproof. 31So they will eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. 32For the waywardness of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them.…(Proverbs 1:30 -32)
Anyone who is among the living has hope –even a live dog is better off than a dead lion! (Ecclesiastes 9:4)
Bible New Testament – Love
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. (John 15:13)
Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. (Luke 6:37)
What’s My Point?
In ancient Israel a dog was considered the lowest form of animal and the lion the most revered.
This post Is not to point fingers of blame at anyone or to judge anyone. It is to, only provide information for readers to discern the above Bible verses related to wisdom and love available to anyone interested.
While everyone may discern that a nurse of doctor who contracts coronavirus to be a hero lion, no one on earth is qualified to judge their personal motives or circumstance of their life that led them to their choices except their Maker according to the Bible.
If a person has faith in the Bible, when we die, we will no longer have any hope of life on earth, but will have had hope of an eternal reward in heaven if they lived a righteous life.
My point is that on earth, while we are alive, we must discern risks and rewards for every spiritual or practical life choice or decision we make regardless of what our political leaders’ authorities ,decisions, or choices about coronavirus.
In My Opinion
I can only pray for the soul of every departed victim of coronavirus and hope this post will help others to discern, not judge, who they have faith in about the personal choices of our body and soul in life.
Or whether the choices we make were wise or foolish, or based on love according to the Bible Old or New Testaments.

I LOVE the motto, “What the world needs now in addition to love is wisdom. We are the masters of our own disasters.” The beginning of Wisdom as we know is fear of the Lord. I’ll look around and see how you address that. Fearing our heavenly Father who has our backs, He has rescued me time and time again and has taken my messes (disasters) and made them messages – of HIS hope!!!! Never the less, I hope I have a HOLY fear of our PERFECT Lord God and that has given me some wisdom. I know I can’t start my day without being in HIS Word!!!! Love your blog!!! I’ve not been in my readers in a long while. So much to catch up on…..

I read your four posts on Fear as the beginning of Wisdom. No new revelations for me on how to have Holy Fear of my HOLY Heavenly Father….so I hope I am not deceived and I have the Holy Fear needed! I have no fears right now, but I do wear a mask when I go grocery shopping since I am in the older generation….It keeps me from having to put on lipstick! LOL
I have the peace that passes understanding in this upside world right now. Come quickly Lord!
