Even in ancient times and different faiths, Spring was considered Divine after the severe winds, lightning, thunder, and trials of winter storms and “the time of singing is heard in our land.”

King Solomon

 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over [and] gone;

The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; (Song of Songs 2:11,12))

‘Abdu’l-Bahá

When the winds blow severely, rains fall fiercely, the lightning flashes, the thunder roars, the bolt descends and storms of trial become severe, grieve not; for after this storm, verily, the divine spring will arrive.
