Millions of imported N95 masks used by USA medical personnel are proven defective by CDC
The Chicago Tribune reported:
“In tests of about 11 masks that the FDA had authorized to be sold to U.S. hospitals, seven flunked. One mask removed as little as 24-35% of particles, according to a CDC test on April 15. “
“They relied on the self-reported test results from China,” he said. “Are you kidding me?”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to again recommend the USA government do what was successively accomplished in WWII
Rebuke is more effective for a wise man Than a hundred blows on a fool. (Proverb 17:10)
In the end, people appreciate honest criticism far more than flattery. Proverbs 28:23
What’s My Point?
Economists theory of globalism has plus and minus factors to consider same as everything in business.
However, to rely on outsourcing for 90 percent of the USA medical supplies and critical parts for national security was folly as proven by what we are now experiencing during this pandemic.
What we need to do is learn from this sad experience and remedy the supplies of f critical needs commodities to be returned to be manufactured in the USA quality controls.
Having had personal experience in purchasing and outsourcing, I well remember the need for quality control management personnel at the source country manufacturers employed and paid for in our company was proven wise time and time again. These same method of having company personnel doing source quality control at source was done in WWII.
In my Opinion
In a previous post, I suggested government needs to become involved as a National Security duty to have secure reliable manufacturing facilities in the USA as proven vital in WWII.
This sad experience of suppling defective masks to our medical personnel who are in the front lines bravely bearing a obtaining the deadly virus war because of both lack of supply of N95 masks can only be described as as a sad rebuke.
What is needed is hopefully for our government to have a quick response to an honest rebuke rather than a whiplashing a do what I suggested in my Previous Post..
