What is meant by the song verse, “the beat goes on” in life?
Reading the sad news today of what we have been experiencing during the year 2020 brought to my mind the 3000-year-old writings about the seasons and time Ecclesiastes verses in the Bible..
The Purpose of This Post
Is to hopefully pray it is now time to return from a very sad season of time in the rhythm in our lives and allow “the beat to go on” to the converse of the verses about seasons in life.
King Solomon
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
What’s My Point?
If we read the ancient writings and discern the season of the year 2020, we may recognize many of the sad experience’s descriptions.,
For example, A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
My point is hopefully the we will soon return to the converse of each time or season we have been experiencing.
In My Opinion
I believe the sooner we return to work and begin producing according to this following explanation.
“There is also the affirmation of the need to work and produce, and to enjoy the fruits of our labors: “every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.”
Frankly, it is very difficult if a person has never been taught to believe in faith to understand how to relate the purposes we experience the sad parts of each seasons as being a gift from God.Then again, if we never received the gift of life we never will experience either the sad or joyful times in life.
Or perhaps in part, it may be related for us to learn something from the sad experiences?
Or, perhaps the reason in contained in the motto of this blog.
What the world needs no in addition to love is wisdom, we are the masters of our own disasters.

You Decide
Is there any wisdom we have acquired from this sad season of 2020 that may help us change the rhythm in our lives as to be better prepared for the beat to go on to enjoy the gifts of our labor, it is a gift of God?
Is the contemporary song “the beat goes on” a repeat of an ancient verses of Ecclesiasts and this following verse.
What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

Sonny and Cher – The Beat Goes On
Most of our problems result from the evils of men. Even the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic was brought to us by the Red Chinese, power mad rulers. Then, many of our own rulers, after they should have known it was not required, insisted upon shutting everything down. What is worse is that some of these supposedly brilliant people, like the Governor of New York, insisted that elder care facilities accept people with active COVID-19 infections. If we are going to try policeman for murder for abusing his power, why have we not put that governor on trial. His decision led to the deaths of thousands.
