Is the USA government and a political party professing their support for Civil Rights ON THE BASIS OF RACE, COLOR, NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX, RELIGION, OR AGE actually engaging in hypocrisy of racism discrimination by economically restricting black poverty and middle-class children from attending private religious schools?
The Chicago Tribune article titled: Loss of Catholic Schools is a loss to America, reports the continue closing of Catholic school, many that serve in poor black neighborhoods and because of the Covid-19 closings, even in middle class white areas because of affordability.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient proverb to the current news of protests taking place under the mantra of Black Lives Matter in regards to school choice.
King Solomon Proverb
With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape. (Proverb 11:9)
A hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour, deceives him with his flatteries and lies, and draws him into destructive schemes and practices;
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered; from the hypocrite and deceitful worker, and from being corrupted and destroyed by the words of his mouth:
What’s My Point?
In a previous post titled: Democrat’s Love, I included this statement
“Black parents love charter schools and voucher-supported private school vouchers because the teach values, self-respect, and hope. But no, if this option for poor or lower-income parents has more Democrat opposition than ever.”
The current news articles of marches demanding the rights of Blacks to end racism, politicians profess their support to end racism of police brutality.
The question is by opposing what black parents “love for charter schools and voucher supported private school vouchers, are they deceiving both poor blacks and now including middle class families with flatteries and lies same as a hypocrite>?
My point is politicians that refuse to listen to parents who ask for school vouchers because either they are too poor to afford tuition or pay $5 to $10,000 a year property taxes for the rest of their lives cannot afford to pay for both public and private schools.
In My Opinion
There have been and will always be inequities in life between rich and poor. However, in the USA, the gap continues to widen especially with the opportunities to obtain a choice of what parents want their children to obtain in school as they work two jobs in a household for the majority of families.
In my opinion, it is government and political hypocrisy of both the USA government and political parties to continue to oppose school choice and school vouchers while at the same time claim to support the cause of Black Lives Matter.
