Is the clue to speedily reduce the shootings contained in a Song Verse?
The Chicago Tribune articles contained the following statements.
“Instead, should focus on policies that can be change immediately by any mayor or police chief who is willing.”
“Our City is crying out,”
“We cannot expect community members to turn criminals over to the police if we know the criminal justice system will return most to these criminals back to the street.”
“The Sheriff is committed to combating violence,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,gun related should remain in jail………. rest solely with the judiciary.”
When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people’s hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong. (Eclsiastes 8:11)
What’s My Point?
The song verse of Do-Re-Me contains this verse.
“Let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start.”
Everybody seems to be aware that the problem for the majority of killing in gangs, guns, drugs.
Everyone……. knows that when a gang member shoots someone, the witnesses are afraid if they become a witness, they will be terrorized by the gang members or the person arrested and then released back into the community until a trial date and may himself terrorize the witness.
My point is if someone is arrested carrying a weapon, they need to be removed from the community. If the judges would either not allow anyone arrested with a gun to be bonded out, or the lawmakers pass laws that anyone arrested with a gun must serve a mandatory jail sentence as an immediate punishment for being arrested in possession of a gun, and all the judge needs is proof the suspect had a gun in his possession,
In My Opinion
King Solomon proverb pointed out the very beginning of Chicago’s shooting problems s right to the issue 3000 years ago.
If a sentence is not carried out quickly, it allows criminals to scheme to do more wrong………….to either someone else…………or a witness.
