What is the violence in the cities all about?
The Chicago Tribune article asked the above question and the writer gave a litany of his opinions of the reasons, except the main one in my opinion.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient proverb to the question and my opinion of the core reason and how it keeps repeating in every society as recorded in history.
King Solomon
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (Proverb 9:10)
What’s My Point?
The article has many valid reasons for the violence taking place in our Nation.
However, there are two reasons that become apparent if one views the videos of the shooting’s victims, the mob lootings and behaviors we are witnessing.
Lack of fear of authority.
The writer mentions how the Bill of Rights and Constitution guarantees due process and a jury trial to delay fear of punishment by offenders. Releasing on bond a gang member to threating witness to cooperate with authority is a well-known reality in Chicago shootings.
Organized gangs or mobs demonstrating out of control and looting knowing the authorities cannot arrest everyone is another example of how lack of fear can escalate and fuel mov violence.
My point is that above examples of reasons and the litany of other reasons in article are absent the core two reasons for the violence which in my opinion is the result of two core reasons.
In My Opinion
The silence of the Democrat Party which I explained in a previous post is fueling the violence by inserting a wedge to separate and breakdown the limits of authority to maintain order in our Nation. I explained in a previous post why Silence is complicity.
Add to history of how revolutions of communism and fascism succeeded by silence rooted in fear of harm by speaking out/
The main or core reason though of fear of the Lord perpetuated in the last century by a combination of fear of teaching religion because of fear of Papal influence brought about government control of schools. Which over time under government control has made private religious schools unaffordable for poor and middle-class families.
What we are now witnessing is a number of generations over time never being taught to Fear the Lord and the belief that when we die there will be a higher authority accounting for what harm we did to our brothers and sisters, regardless of color or creed. has made
In other words, there has been in history numerous schemers over time who profit or use force to obtain power and riches from their fellow humans who figured out how to evade authority and the result was to circumvent lawful authority because of lack of Fear of the Lord.
Even though many Black and every other skin colors parents want school choice or school vouchers to teach their children their religious value, the Democrat Party will not allow them according to this statement.
. “Black parents love charter schools and voucher-supported private school vouchers because they teach values, self-respect, and hope. But no, if this option for poor or lower-income parents has more Democrat opposition than ever.”
In other words, both silence and obstruction to teach the religious values taught in the Bible of wisdom and love are the core missing reasons missed in the Chicago Tribune article, in my opinion.
If you don’t buy my argument, ask your legislators for a statistical survey of how many black children have every had the opportunity to attend a private religious school. Also ask your legislators to conduct second statistical survey to compare how many people convicted of a crime went to a public vs. a private school in their early years of learning?
If Interested
Read the Source Links Below which include another survey comparison of numbers of police shootings of various races. Then ask yourself if the fact Blacks or other skin colors have higher statistics of being victims of shootings because of their early childhood circumstances of single parents and lack of opportunity to attend the schools of their parents’ choice.
You Decide
Wise or foolish two missing reasons of the root causes of violence and silence “is what the violence is all about” in our Nation?

I’m not so sure the Dem “silence” toward violence is feeding that situation as much as Trump’s constantly divisive rhetoric, bully tactics, giving nods to Qanon and other Right Wing we-love-Trump organizations, and let’s not forget the “genius” of having Machine Gun McCloskey and his pistol packin’ wife as speakers at the GOP convention to illustrate the epitome of home defense patriotism in America and sending a message to the violent base to just grab a gun and go out and defend America…. ala the 17 year old in Kenosha. Get real.

Doug,
I’m confused about your logic that Trump is to blame for stating he stands for law and order because that is the oath he took when he was elected President?
What oath do Democrats take when they are elected? Perhaps to remain silent about looting we see taking place in the news?
Perhaps you can enlighten me?

The McCloskeys have ZERO to do with law & order. None. Nada. They represent independent action outside the law. Trump is inciting his gun-hugging base to take measures into their own hands. Please share what “Dems” wake up each morning and wish and hope for violence, killing, destruction of property? It’s nothing but this conspiracy obsession with Trumpians that all things bad Trump had no responsibility and it’s all about Dems/Liberals making him look bad. Sorry.. after three and a half years ANYTHING that happens on Trump’s watch is Trump’s responsibility. The buck stops with him.

fine post, it’s important to point out, to those who claim faith in the Higher Love, that words alone and organisation alone does not suffice, to be a believer. Being part of a group doesn’t cut the mustard, applying the principles is what matters, understanding, patience, listening, putting self interest aside, being bi partisan, compassionate, in a nutshell, it’s not being a part of the movement, it’s called doing it, and that involves reaching out to those who are not part of your social circle, but going beyond, not causing others to feel envious, it’s a lot of work to be a believer, amen.
