Which one will be the champion for the less accepted cause for the sake of argument?

The Chicago Tribune article titled: What does it mean to be a good Catholic, contained two statements.

You can’t be a Republican and be a good Catholic,”

“You cannot be Catholic and be a Democrat.”

The Purpose of This Post

Is to relate an ancient proverb to the question of which political party and which argument in my opinion any voter’s religion should support that will destroy any devil’s advocate defense argument to be discussed in this coming election.

King Solomon

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverb 22:6)

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”— (“Ecclesiastes 12:1)

What’s My Point?

.“Thus, Johnson et al. concluded that the research literature consistently has shown that religion leads directly or indirectly to reductions in criminal and deviant behavior.

“Black parents love charter schools and voucher-supported private school vouchers because they teach values, self-respect, and hope. But no, if this option for poor or lower-income parents has more Democrat opposition than ever.”

My Point is the USA has burdened the future of their children with 23 trillion dollars in debt, has a high crime rate, violence, high drug addiction, poverty, wealth inequality, legally by abortion killed over 60 million children since Roe and Wade, racism, divisiveness, rioting, etc. etc.

The core reason is because religion is waning in the USA which our founders believe would help defend the ideals, our founders envisioned in what they wrote in the Constitution when they founded our Nation.

In other words, over time, the majority of poor and middle-class parents can no longer afford to  send their children to private religious schools and the result is , religion has waned in the USA.

What we are now seeing is the results of the folly we are now in evidence brought about by not teaching children to live by religious values the founders envisioned.

In My Opinion

The most profound issue of this election is to vote for a candidate that supports school choice or school vouchers to return teaching religious values to our children and grandchildren to help restore the values our founder’s ideals for a Republic to carry on in the future.

You Decide

If you are a parent or grandparent, what issue will you vote to defend when you vote regardless what either of the two Presidential candidates?

If you read the founder’s opinions of the news article writer brought up, keep in mind none of the pros or cons of school choice or school vouchers was mentioned. Ask yourself then, what difference will any of his opinions make in the future if religion continues to wane and no one in the future has a religious belief to defend as either a devil’s advocate or to defend against the devils?

Or in other words, in a Republic when decisions are decided on the basis of number of votes, when there are less voters with religious beliefs to guide leaders to champion decisions based on any religious values, there will be less voters and less politicians to support school choice or school voucher.
