Which parent has the primary duty to teach religious values to their children according to the wisdom of King Solomon?
In ancient Israel, there was a difference in parent’s roles and duties. One crucial parental duty in our contemporary times has become complicated because of single parent households which have increased significantly in the past decades.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to explain how ancient wisdom verses relate to this contemporary time “complication.”.
King Solomon
Hear, O children, a father’s instruction,
be attentive, that you may gain understanding!
2 Yes, excellent advice I give you;
my teaching do not forsake.
3 When I was my father’s child,
tender, the darling of my mother,
4 He taught me and said to me:
“Let your heart hold fast my words:
keep my commands, and live!
5 Get wisdom,[b] get understanding!
Do not forget or turn aside from the words of my mouth. (Proverbs 4)
What’s My Point?
In ancient times in Israel, it was a father’s duty to pass on the teachings of his father. A mother role centered on a mother’s role of love implied in the word meaning of ‘darling’ in the verses.
The problem is “in 2019, there were about 15.76 million children living with a single mother in the United States,”
Add to the problem is most mothers in a single parent household cannot afford to choose to send their children to a private religious school to be taught in depth the religious values of their parents’ beliefs.
Add to the problem that most poor and middle-class parent families also cannot afford to choose either because ever since government became involved in schools, the costs of education have risen way out of proportion to their wages.
Add that if anyone who chooses to send their children must pay two tuitions to fund schools, one tuition to fund public and one to fund private schools.
My point is that this past year, the Supreme Court has ruled it is now unconstitutional for any State they may no longer prohibit public funds to be distributed to private schools.
In My Opinion
It is no secret that many children in single family households may wind up being influenced by peers to engage in folly or do not have access or affordability of the same quality of education.
Sadly, only the Republican political party platform has included school choice as a progressive way to meet the challenge of single-family households.
Ironically, the claims of the Progressive Political Party or Democrat Party and cavalier statement claims of “Biden: ‘If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump then you aren’t black,” and then compare to the following statement.
“Black parents love charter schools and voucher-supported private school vouchers because they teach values, self-respect, and hope. But no, if this option for poor or lower-income parents has more Democrat opposition than ever.”
In my opinion the reason Blacks, or any other skin color, Poor, or Middle Class for the most part is not aware of the differences of having a child taught in a private religious school is because the parents themselves never experienced being taught in a private religious school in early childhood.
And as more and more private religious schools close for economic reasons so will religious beliefs wane.

You Decide
Are religious based issues as stated in a Blog Post really the most crucial issue in the 2020 election for the Black, poor and middle-class families for the USA to “Progress.”
If so, why is the School Choice or School Voucher issue only included on the Republic political platform?

Why? Rudy we know why school choice isn’t a part of the “Democratic Party’s platform-Public sector union contributions. If there was any going to the Republican party, I suspect that plank would be missing too. Wisconsin made some progress, but that may be slipping away.
