Definition of Succinct (Merriam Webster)
1: marked by compact precise expression without wasted words
The Chicago Tribune today contained a number of articles which King Solomon would describe as ‘groan issues’ on the part of voters to allow themselves to be subjected to the folly in DC.
In one article titled: Mayor succinct with city council, reported the following succinct messages were used.
“I think you’re 100% full of s—, is what I think,” Lightfoot responded.
Lopez replied, “Well, f— you then.”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient proverb for interested readers to discern what succinct message (groan) they would offer to Congress members in a similar manner as the Mayor of Chicago.
When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan. (Proverb 29:2)
What’s My Point?
Politicians are issuing new mandates to shutdown businesses because of a return surge of the pandemic.
In an article titled: Who is ready for some bipartership in DC, reports political bickering issues.
While at the same time 53 million Americans live paycheck to paycheck while politicians bicker rather than bipartership and “put off” a decision to pass a smaller direct Bill for an immediate aid for the paycheck to paycheck PPP vs a complete package.
In an article titled: Where should evangelicals go now, because Trump supported their concerns about issues important to their religious belief values while Biden Political Party is secular.
The writer states Christians are obliged to “turn their other cheek,” on moral religious issues they are concerned with for their families.
For Example, what are the changes a Democrat Congress will support in regards to Sex ED and school choice of school voucher?
In My Opinion
It you are interested, perhaps you should read the other issues in the Chicago Tribune today, too many to list on a blog and groan along, or believe to be amusing yourself as one columnist seems to enjoy doing when he personally attacks Trump.
Or should we voters perhaps start sending a succinct message to DC Congressman who are supposed to represent us and our fellow Americans instead making us groan while they biker among themselves which is an indeed a travesty to the paycheck to pay checkers.
