Why must the Supreme Court not decide the winner of the 2020 Election?

A Chicago Tribune opinion columnist article titled: A Dear John (Roberts) letter from US to Trump, contained this following statement:

The Purpose of This Post

Is to relate and ancient proverb how King Solomon would have solved this issue, which unfortunately is unconstitutional, and to propose what needs to be done, in my opinion.

King Solomon,

Casting lots causes contentions to cease, and keeps the mighty apart. (Proverb 18:18)

What’s My Point?

Using the lot method to end quarrels, along with the belief that the winner of the draw is a decision made by God was proof in faith in God to plan man’s courses.

However, the USA Constitution First Amendment prohibits religion to decide civil matters.

My point is that if the Supreme Court becomes the deciding factor as the columnist opinion appears to desire, the Court is overruling the choices of 74 million voters based on an issue of a first-time mass use of mailed in votes alleged to have been made by governors lacking government authority among other issues.

In My Opinion

Add the details of how voter signatures were an impossible task to verity in Georgia, and other issues, plus Hillary Clinton’s advice not to concede the election leaves no other but one choice to resolve this issue.

If this issue is not resolved, the next four years in the USA will set the stage for added divisiveness and lack of faith in the integrity of the vote being the deciding factor to choose leadership in a free Republic as envisioned by the founders in our Nation.

In my opinion, what needs to be done is simple and conforms to an ageless idiom recognized since the beginning of time that was taught to me in grammar school.

“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again.”

Congress has no greater task than to sit down and establish minimum requirements to assure rules and timelines that must be adhered to in every State in the Nation to safeguard the main premise of freedom in the USA which is the integrity of the vote.

In other words, any State election that did not meet the minimum requirements of legal ballots to assure a timely and accurate election must “try again.”

Will the cost of another election be insignificant in comparison to the cost of four more years of political divisions occur in the USA?

How did the USA make the decision to buy and use voting machines designed and manufactured in Venezuela, a nation with a reputation for election fraud?
