Is the current state of DACA the fault of Republican President Trump or Democrat Leaders?
A Chicago Tribune Columnist opinion article titled: The ‘Dreamers’ are still waiting for their nightmare to end, contained the following statements:
“Trump has professed “love” for the dreamers…………….”
“Democrat Senator Durbin and Hatch in 2001 proposed the Dream Act……….”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to remind the writer how close an agreement of the Dream Act was about to be enacted in a private 2017 meeting with President Trump and both Republican and Democrat leaders until a certain Senator made a personal “nightmare “political choice and gamble to quash the Dream Act and the dreamers.
King Solomon
No one remembers the former generations, and even those yet to come will not be remembered by those who follow them. (Ecclesiastes 1:11)
What’s My Point?
The above proverb observation states former ‘generations.’
However, the writer and his personal political biased journalism against President Trump, unless it is a form of dementia has occurred in a much shorter time
In My Opinion
If you read a previous post in the Source Link below, and then consider this question. has the Senator ever met in another private meeting with President Trump after he made his choice or gamble?
You Decide
Who or what political party should be blamed for the reason the DACA “miracle” never occurred after the meeting??

Who is Lying………?
In my opinion, it is a mess created by both parties. Without some level of consensus, not much is going to change. I pray God will break through with wisdom for all parties.
Blessings.

Michael,
In my opinion, Trump was using DACA as a bargaining chip to obtain funds to control the border.
I am fairly certain the majority of Americans support DACA and understand the reasons why Trump would readily agree to DACA if the Dems would agree to solve the four decade old border problems.
