Yes, but Senator……………?
The Chicago Tribune article titled: Sen. Mitt Romney calls out fellow Republicans for pushing stolen election myth, says it makes achieving unity more difficult, reported this statement.
“U.S. Sen. Mitt Romney on Tuesday accused fellow Republicans of fomenting political division by perpetuating the myth that massive voter fraud denied Donald Trump reelection, and said unity will be difficult to achieve without acknowledging Democratic President Joe Biden won a fair contest.”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient proverb to this statement and an ageless conundrum which is applicable to the meaning of answering the Senator with a “yes, but….” to reveal the real truth.
Like a muddied spring or a polluted well are the righteous who give way to the wicked. (Proverb 25:26)

But’ effectively says that what has just been said is not true, or at least is not completely true. The following words then reveal the real truth.
What’s My Point?
Yes Mitt, the Electoral College has decided Joe Biden is the winner of the 2020 election.
But,, because there are no standards that require all States to conform to minimum standards and procedures to verify signatures of mailed in voter ballots to compare to voter registration signatures.
Also, some Governors made changes without approved by their election laws requirements.
The Electoral College is based on the total of States results, but if some States are lax with their election procedures, it serves to muddle or pollute the entire results of all States.
As for unity, you support impeachment of Trump because you believe the 75 million voters, the largest number of votes for any Republican in history, will bring about unity. If so, perhaps you should read my previous posts in the Source Links below.
In My Opinion
Yes Mitt, but, in my opinion the 2020 election results will never be accepted by Republicans or unity will result in any future election in the USA until uniform minimum voting requirements are agreed and passed in Congress.
Would King Solomon judge the Senator’s arguments to be righteous or perhaps a little muddled form of polluting the stream on this issue?
