Interested in a summary of one day’s news reports of madness and folly in USA?

The Chicago Tribune articles being reported today can only be discerned as one more day in the “madness and folly” occurring in the USA, in my opinion.

The Purpose of This Post

Is to relate and ancient proverb, an idiom, and a brief summary of what I read in today’s news articles and columnists’ opinions.

King Solomon,

Then I applied myself to the understanding of wisdom, and also of madness and folly, but I learned that this, too, is a chasing after the wind. (Ecclesiastes 1:17)

Idiom

you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink

You can give someone an advantage or provide them with an opportunity, but you can’t force them to do something if they don’t want to.

What’s My Point?

The following is a summary of the articles for USA taxpayers and voters to observe and discern if the present administration is engaged in madness and folly, same as King Solomon observed 3000 years ago in his observations of human behaviors.

Article: FBI migrant staff checks waived.

The USA is paying $773 a day to house migrants crossing the border illegally by the thousands. Because the present administration cannot handle the surge, it is waiving security checks of the migrants to find out if they already have a USA criminal record or may in the future be identified.

Meanwhile, there are 500,000 homeless Americans sleeping in tents on city streets and not receiving any government subsidies, many veterans, or job opportunities.

Article – Furious as Biden wont’ play in Fox Narrative

A Trump hater opinion writer applauds President Biden for not being as transparent as President Trump.

I am still trying to find out how many migrants have turned themselves in at the border so as to be released and free to roam the USA until a Court Date in five years.

Meanwhile migrants are eligible to be government subsidies to obtain food, clothing, housing, and medical benefits that the homeless in USA are not eligible for the same subsidies as asylum seekers, and are sleeping on streets in tents and begging on every corner available in the USA..

Article – You Want to be chef? Now is the time

Opinion writer reports a shortage of chefs because many now receive unemployment checks will only work if paid under the table in cask so as not to lose their unemployment benefits.

No comment needed to describe extending unemployment benefits for another six months..

Article – Banning assault weapons unlikely to stop mass shootings.

Opinion writer questions the feasibility of government regulation being a solution for random mass shooter occurrences in USA now that there are over 400 million guns in the USA.

Personally, I wonder if many causes of the mental problems in the USA are a result of government who allows drugs to freely enter the borders along with the migrants.

Article – Sorry, Mr. Smith, but I, too, have turned against the filibuster.

Opinion writer wants more Democrat polices to pass in spite of the Senates rules to check and balance the promise made by candidate Biden to unite all political parties. For some reason that promise seems to have changed by Biden now that he is in office.

Article – Do Oak Park voters want to defund police?

Article expands on the issue if it is a going to be a wise decision. One issue is the schools no longer have police in the schools.

Why not? The public schools have not been opened during the pandemic.

What is going to happen when they open might change Oak Park voters to discern before they give themselves accolades for defunding the police.

Article – City leaders, groups rally against Asian hate.

Hate crimes against Asians are now be added to the list of Jews, Blacks, Gays, Transvestites, etc. etc.

Is hate or fear the reason perhaps why so many Americans are rushing to buy guns, They realize the police can no longer protect them whether funded or not because once someone is arrested, he is freed without bond thanks to the Democrats.

Article – Biden says he’s ‘respecter of fate.’ We should all be.

“the fate is bound to take us where we did not imagine.”

In My Opinion

After reading today’s Chicago Tribune what is occurring in the USA, it appears evident that King Solomon observations and use of words “madness and folly: is happening in the USA>

Even King Solomon who observed and wrote thousands of words of wisdom to record the madness and folly in his era to try to lead fools not to repeat them, is having the same effects as the idiom of leading a horse to drink, but cannot make the horse drink the wisdom and advice same as trying to chase after and grasp the wind

Same as what is now taking place in our contemporary times, although only in the USA?

In my opinion because we are printing dollars and actually believe we can keep on doing so forever according to the present political leaders in power.

You Decide

If after reading, should we voters discern if the present government administration should read the commentaries of King Solomons Ecclesiastes verse 1:17 and take a course in proverbial wisdom to discern if he was referring to their present policies of governing, only in America.

If so, should all news reporters, new opinion writers, and government legislators take a course to understand ancient wisdom to hopefully prevent them from having to continue to report and repeat the madness and folly, only in America.

Yes indeed, the question posed by the writer “the fate is bound to take us where we did not imagine,” In my opinion, the same fate of the USA will be repeated in time same as other failed Democrat Republics in history. And the same fate as Israel experienced 3000 years ago when King Solomon died and is recorded in the Bible in this following verse.

“So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.” (Ecclesiastes 2:9)
