Statement made by Senator Biden and repeated as President Joe Biden.
Most political conservatives who believe in the Constitution and Rights Amendments, after hearing President Biden’s above statement are flabbergasted of the implications. An admission of the political Progressives now in power have on their agenda. To render as meaningless the Constitution and Bill of Rights Amendments.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate and ancient proverb, and idiom, and a warning of the implications of the statement.
King Solomon
“Meaningless! Meaningless!’
says the Teacher.
‘Utterly meaningless!
Everything is meaningless’” (Ecclesiastes 1:2).
Other translations have the word vanity or futility in place of meaningless. The point is the same: Solomon in his old age has found everything in this world to be empty and void of meaning. This lament becomes the theme of the whole book.
Idiom empty promise
A promise that is devoid of worth or meaning, one that cannot or was never intended to be carried out.
What’s My Point?
My point is when a person reaches the President’s age, same as King Solomon did when he wrote the Ecclesiastes above statement, the reality of life becomes apparent.
All the hopes and dreams of a young person or young Nation become more vivid with that realization that everything we worked for and believed in will soon end with the reality of death.
In My Opinion
President Joe Biden statement, if enacted by the present Congressional majority in Congress will hasten the death of the dreams of our founders who wrote the Constitution and Bill of Rights are now being interpreted as “an empty promise.”
While President Joe Biden statement was addressed to the gun rights amendment, if that is not absolute, what next issue is not absolute.
All because of we have now in power a Congress and White House who believes they are wiser than the founders of our Nation who dreamt and wrote to guide our Nation in the future based on their hopes and dreams of freedom.
In my opinion, President Joe Biden is repeating the same folly as King Solomon who believed he was as wise as his Creator, and discovered later in life that all his efforts to observer men and rule over them wound up only to divide the Nation in two after his death
For example, on another issue on the Progressive Agenda, will the USA become divided because of high taxes and debt from as a result of his rule, same as King Solomon enacted during his reign.
King Solomon realized his folly and wrote Ecclesiastes in hopes that future generations might be warned not to repeat his error,
Which obviously, President Joe Biden statement proves the wisdom of King Solomon] s words in the following Ecclesiastes verse 3000 years ago and has been proven reality in every failed Nation in history.
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)
You Decide
Is the present political Progressive Party majority in Congress and the White House on the same path of doing ”what will be done again” to prove the wisdom of King Solomon once again as evidenced in history of Nations that failed.
If the President takes an oath to follow and enforce the laws set forth by the Constitution and Bill of Rights Amendments and then issues Presidential Orders that are opposite his duties to enforce the law, does that mean USA laws are….

There have been amendments that were able to be overturned by subsequent amendments. None of the originals have. Thank God that the constitution was written the way it was.

However, only one Amendment in the history of USA has ever been overturned since 1789.,
There have been many laws, not Amendments, changed but not Rights Amendments.
Also, many Supreme Court interpretations reversed over time.

Rudy, scripture is interpreted on a daily basis, it’s called the living word, meaning, they give life. Under different times, there are different meanings, a car manual changes in meaning to the end user, depending on the model the owner has, as he gets up the car ladder, the manual changes,if he is using the car to race, the alterations are obvious.
Joe Biden is thinking the words of wisdom, there are laws initially enacted to protect those living alone in the wilderness, giving them permission to arm themselves, the threats could be thieves robbers or the native indians, and there were no police stations locally, so laws are made to protect people, this law would never be introduced today, as it would destabilize the nation. Constitutions were not enacted by legal experts, they were thought to be, righteous at the time, but the world moves on, the cities we built etc.
To suggest that change is necessary on a grand scale, is wisdom, given the chaos everywhere, if Joe uses words that are easily misinterpreted, then it’s time those doing the critique, had a hard look at the overall disaster awaiting the planet,rather than complaining because their politics is different. It used to be the goal of politicians to work for the good of all, and not just dance to the lobby dollars,as has been the case in most places. If Joe wants to show the world, there is meaningful change going on, he is showing it. Hope your keeping well, amen. if you want to argue for the proper interpretation of the law, then advise those in the position, to bring in simple amendments,such as, “the intention of the law”, what a reasonable person would think. Imagine all those trillion of dollars off shore, because of the minds of a few accountants, amen.

We are dreaming small that it is possible or practical for the USA to confiscate 400 million guns in the USA or to dream that criminals will not figure out a way to obtain a gun even if it was possible.
What we need to do is dream big as I explained in a new post today.
I agree the laws of selling guns need to become more restrictive to make it more difficult to obtain, but that is not the big picture issue fueling gun violence in the USA now, in my opinion.
