What’s the missing key in Biden and the Democrat “Magic Spend and Tax Agenda to create jobs in USA?
The Chicago Tribune article titled: Weak jobs report could be a risk or opportunity for President Biden: ‘It’s clear we have a long way to go,’ reported the following statement:
“There are also issues of supply shortages — for computer chips, lumber and more — that are holding back growth, a reminder that the world’s largest economy seldom bends perfectly to the wishes of lawmakers.”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate and ancient proverb, an idiom, and opinion of what is missing in Washington DC Spend and Tax Agendas?
For by wise counsel, you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety. (Proverb 24:6)
Idiom – For want of a nail
proverb Due to a minor inconvenience or mishap, (something much worse has happened). The full proverb is “For want of a nail the shoe was lost. For want of a shoe the horse was lost. For want of a horse the rider was lost. For want of a rider the battle was lost. For want of a battle the kingdom was lost. And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.”
What’s My Point?
Legislators who believe that if you give away money to spur the economy I s the magic key to spur the USA economy.
The problem is there is no magic in logistics. What is needed is long range planning to prevent shortages of critical items and services to prevent what is being reported in the article’
For example, auto plants are being shutdown to manufacture new autos because of a shortage of a critical item, a small silicon wafer computer chip. The result of the USA outsourcing what was once 60 percent manufactured in the USA to 12 percent of computer chips machinery and skills to sources 8000 miles away.
The result is used cars prices are soaring, price inflation etc. etc.
My point is that printing money and putting it in the hands is spurring people to buy goods that are manufactured 8000 miles away and spurring jobs everywhere but the USA.
In My Opinion
Legislators in the USA need the talents of good wise counsel to guide and restore critical long-range planning instead of social humanitarians who are in power who believe that printing money will win the ‘war’ and somehow create a magical increase of jobs in a Nation which outsourced machinery and skills for over 40 years will somehow pop out of a genie jar.
The idiom of a nail lacking lost the war many years ago is in our contemporary times a thin silicon wafer.
What is needed now is same as what was needed in the past. Wise counsel and long-range plans and logistics to win the war to restore our economy.
History has already proven that Nations that print money to spend and raise taxes have failed.
Do we need wise counsel in Washington DC to who understand logistics and long-range planning?
Do we need to end divisiveness in Washington to listen to wise counsel of what is needed to win a war or create steady progression of economic growth instead of believing in magic?
