Would Reagan support the new proposed Rights Bill?
The Chicago Tribune Article titled: Reagan championed Voting Rights, reported the following statement:
“Today’s GOP betrays his legacy.”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient proverb, Reagan’s Russian Proverb, to question if the columnist is misreporting the issues of the Current House Bill being contested by the Democrats?
All my words are just, there is nothing wicked, nor perverse in them. They are right to them that understand, and just to them that find knowledge. (Proverb 8:7-8)
Reagan Saying – Trust but verify
Meaning – This proverb rhymes in Russian – Duvernay, no progeria – and literally means that a responsible person always verifies everything before committing himself to a common business with anyone, even if that anyone is totally trustworthy.
What’s My Point?
The writer’s opinions imply that the GOP opposition to the current House Bill to “reform elections,” gives no details of the differences between Reagans 1982 Bill vs the current House Bill according to this statement:
“But it expands access to the ballot box – automatic voter registration; it expands early voting, mail-in voting. Those things were key to the Democratic strategy in the 2020 election.”
My point is there is an Arizona audit now in progress to determine if the Covid pandemic decision to expand mail in votes was described to be: “the 2020 election was the most secure in American History.”
In My Opinion
If the 2020 election was the most secure, why do we need any new
Or should we wait for the Arizona audit results to determine the truth of the statement?
In other words, the election has been certified, Biden is office based on the supposed “most secure election in American history.”
As for the writers’ opinions who wrote the article, what are the differences between Regan 1982 Voting Rights Bill vs. the current House passed Election Reform Bill.
If after reading the writer’s opinions, can they be compared to King Solomon’s above verse being just to promote understanding to find knowledge, or obvious bias hatred?
Should we trust the 2020 election and verify if the mail in ballots contributed to be “the most secure election in American History?”
What is the difference between the Regan Voting Rights Bill and the present House Bill and why is election reform needed if the 2020 election was “the most secure election in American History?”
Is the writer’s opinion have anything to do with Reagan’s legacy or his obvious bias and hatred of Trump?
