If so, what is a clue that the infrastructure foundation is crumbling?
The Chicago Tribune Op-Ed titled: Column: Want to end urban hopelessness? Support real school choice. ended with the following statement”
“Democrats talk incessantly of systemic racism, yet rely on the teachers’ unions as election time muscle to get out the votes. You might want to ask yourself: What are children, if not the infrastructure of a nation?”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient Bible verses, an idiom, and a definition, to discern the truth of this issue.
27 Solomon said, “Don’t kill the baby.” Then he pointed to the first woman, “She is his real mother. Give the baby to her.”
28 Everyone in Israel was amazed when they heard how Solomon had made his decision. They realized that God had given him wisdom to judge fairly.
Idiom – What about the children?
What about the children? If they don’t have a park to play in, they will turn to unsavory activities instead.
Infrastructure Definition for Purpose of This Post – Merriam Webster
: the underlying foundation or basic framework (as of a system or organization)
What’s My Point?
The writer’s opinion that children are the underlying infrastructure of the Nation is spot on when we consider the present crime statistics in mainly poor poverty urban cities in the USA.
More and more children grow up in poverty living in single families and become gang members or criminals because their parents cannot afford to send them to private religious schools. Instead, the children must attend public schools that fail to teach discipline and morals to help them succeed in life, instead of being taught by peer gang members, it breeds hopelessness in communities.
My point is the same as King Solomon stated 3000 years ago. “Don’t kill the baby.” Then he pointed to the first woman, “She is his real mother. Give the baby to her.”
In other words, all the reasons given by the Chicago Tribune writer to explain how the Chicago Schools fail children are based on the truth.
In My Opinion
School choice or school vouchers is in essence will restore hope and help restore family foundations and structure in poor urban areas by giving the babies back to their mothers. Allow the real mothers to choose what school best serves the need of the child to succeed in life instead of peer pressure gang members being allowed to roam free in their communities by government.
Anyone who believes the writer is not telling the truth should consider why it is that 40 percent of public-school teachers send their kids to private schools along with the majority of government legislators living in urban areas.
In my opinion, continued closing of private religious schools because parents cannot afford to pay two tuitions, one in the form of taxes to fund public schools, and another to pay private school tuitions, is similar to an experience seeing a once strong foundation crumble in a community.
Are poor children growing up in high crime urban areas similar to “the underlying foundation or basic framework (as of a system or organization) a sign of a crumbling foundation of law and order in the USA?
What about the children – Should we consider school choice a needed remedy or “a particular course of action will affect young people. The phrase can be used sincerely to draw attention or support to a cause, or sarcastically to mock those who are perceived as being overly protective.”
If so, is now the time to contact your legislators and tell them to support school choice to give the child back to the real mother. instead of the government educrats to prevent the child from being killed both physically and morally?
