How or what needs to be done sometimes, sadly, for politicians to ‘come to their senses?”

The Chicago Tribune article titled: Family mourns a mother of 2 dies following shooting, reported the following statements:

“Arzuaga and Perez, who lived with their two children in Hanover Park, drove to the Humboldt Park neighborhood on Saturday to attend the parade and celebrate their culture, Ponciano said.”

“Arzuaga and Perez were among eight people fatally shot in Chicago from 6 p.m. Friday to late Sunday night. Those killed were among more than 50 shooting victims during that period of Father’s Day weekend. Not included in the tally was a woman who was fatally stabbed in the downtown area not far from Willis Tower over the weekend.”

Why did the Loudoun County School Board abruptly decide to end the meeting?”

The Purpose of This Post

Is to relate an ancient wisdom verse to this issue and my personal opinion what is needed now to restore law and order because the remedy is nothing new under the sun.

King Solomon

8All things are wearisome, more than one can describe; the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear content with hearing. 9What has been will be again, and what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. 10Is there a case where one can say, “Look, this is new”? It has already existed in the ages before us.…

What’s My Point?

I have written numerous posts based on my personal experiences of growing up in Chicago, what is the wisest thing for people to do until such time as government comes to their senses.

That is to move out of Chicago to avoid the risk factors of becoming a victim similar to what occurred to the couple pulled from their car, beaten and shot dead.

Same as what the Chicago Bears Owners want to do by moving their team out to Arlington Heights.

Same as the prodigal son realized the reality of his decision to take his inheritance and spend it for pleasure, and after speeding it, came to his senses by realizing”

Luke 15:17 New American Standard Bible

17 But when he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired laborers have more than enough bread, but I am dying here from hunger!

In other words, the present leaders in Chicago believe their course of benevolence to govern instead of their duty to maintain law and order is the best way to end the crime, poverty, drugs, gang violence, racism, plaguing the city, when in fact, they are not performing their duty which is enforce law and order.

In My Opinion,

Sadly, the victims lived in Hanover Park choose to risk driving in a high crime area, became involved in an accident, and became victims.

Only when the people of Chicago wise up and come to their senses and vote out people who believe their ways of governing are wiser than past generations.

Only then will the government leaders come to their senses when people move out or do not visit and pay tax revenues will the leaders “become hungry” and discern that there is nothing new under the sun in Chicago how to make the city safe enough to live or visit.

If Interested

Read the Source Links below and the previous post King Solomon on Punishment. Then decide after reading if the risk of driving around Chicago at night in high crime areas is worth the price of losing your life by being shot, robbed, or beaten senseless while waiting for government to do their duty to enforce law and order.

Also, to teach children the religious and moral values of wisdom and love in the Bible which has proven over time and under the sun to provide a brighter and more meaningful life instead of crime and violence.

In other words, end the meetings and close the city for construction same as we fix hazardous bridges, roads, or lives.
