What does the above title statement mean to you and our Nation in regards to news media and editorial opinions?
“The 2020 presidential election was rigged,” he told the crowd, which at one point broke into a “Trump won!” chant. “We won that election in a landslide.” In reality, President Joe Biden’s victory was thoroughly validated by the officials who reported finding no systemic fraud.
Apparently, a previous yahoo news article which stated “Trump admits he didn’t win Election” was in worded for readers to believe something which was not 100% right?
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient wisdom proverb, a Mark Twain statement, a Psychology article, and Bible verses, to current news media bias or inaccurate interpretation, or even propaganda reporting instead of what is taught to journalism students.
King Solomon The Limits of Human Wisdom – 3000 Years Ago
Surely there is no righteous man on earth who does good and never sins. Do not pay attention to every word that is spoken, or you may hear your servant cursing you. For you know in your heart that many times you yourself have cursed others.… (Ecclesiastes 7:20-22)
Mark Twain – 1835-1910
“If you don’t read the newspaper, you’re uninformed. If you read the newspaper, you’re mis-informed.”
Psychology Today – Excerpt -What is bias?
Bias is a natural inclination for or against an idea, object, group, or individual. It is often learned and is highly dependent on variables like a person’s socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, educational background, etc.
What’s My Point?
Which comments should we believe between Mark Twain, Citizen Tom, or Doug to be either !00% right or based on bias?
My point is if you read the entire context of what Politico intended, the 100 percent right can be misinterpreted by bias.
In My Opinion
There are two following Bible verses using the words “the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31-32 31To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Romans 8:2 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
The purpose of journalism as taught to students is as follows:
“To provide people with the information they need to be free and self-governing?
In a previous post titled: Arizona Recount vs. …? I asked a question after reading a previous news report titled: Trump Admits He Didn’t Win Election.
Citizen Tom commented in my post:
“Trump did not admit that he lost fairly. Think about what he meant when he surprised them in 2016. In 2020, the Democrats knew they were going to have to cheat.”
Doug commented on another previous post titled: BC Alarm Pending USA for ED?
“Now… think about what you are hoping here… you are hoping for a complete and total breakdown of faith in the voting process…
In my opinion, the USA news media is not conforming to the purpose of journalism which is to provide the citizens of the USA “to provide people with the information they need to be free and self-governing?
What is needed is the truth, not biased opinions which is creating divisiveness in our Nation.
Will the Arizona recount reveal the truth of the Big Lie?
Will anyone, news media or voters, set aside their personal bias and believe the Arizona recount is 100% the truth or lie, or 100 % bias for the beliefs of the political right or left news media?
Should news media be politically bias right or left in order “to provide people with the information they need to be free and self-governing?
Or should we voters read the wisdom and love in the Bible to obtain the truth to understand the wisdom of the above King Solomon proverbs in order to help. set us free instead of reading bias news opinions being reported by news media?
Am I by writing this post “hoping for a complete and total breakdown of faith in the voting process…, or seeking the truth which seems to be a problem of reporting bias in the USA news media in our contemporary times same as was in ancient times in spite of the Bible being written 2000 years ago, but apparently still not believed as being “the truth that sets you free?”
