How would King Solomon rule on this lawsuit?
The Chicago Tribune article titled: District 65 Accused of Discrimination, reported the following statement:
“The fight for the American Republic is in our schools,” she wrote. “This is the first of a series of lawsuits coming from (the foundation) to stop public schools’ discriminatory race-based programming.”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient wisdom proverb to what I surmise King Solomon would go about resolving this lawsuit how to resolve racism and to propose instead of teaching critical race theory to children.
In other words, to propose a much simpler lesson that both parties will agree with to end will end racism and another costly and prolonged lawsuit to be paid by taxpayers.
King Solomon
The lot is cast into the pocket, but the verdict is wholly from Yahweh. (Proverb 16:33)
Excerpt
“Tell them to decide this issue yearly by drawing lots from the pocket of your robe, and let Yahweh decide for them. Since no man can know the outcome of a lot, the chancy process will be the will of Yahweh.”
What’s My Point?
Wise King Solomon when judging lawsuits among the powerful who could not agree on conflicts would have the two parties draw lots to broom about closure to an issue. Their belief in their God Yahweh would decide the matter.
In our contemporary times, this belief would be either be laughed at or if agreed, there is no guarantee both sides would agree to end the matter if they drew the losing lot. but it would only work if both parties can be trusted to be reasonable and to keep their word.
My point is, 1000 years after King Solomon, a much wiser teacher gave a much simpler advice which both sides of the contemporary pros and cons of teaching how to end racism would accomplish if taught to children.
In My Opinion
The simple advice was this Bible verse.
Luke 6:31 Jesus says, “And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.”.
You Decide
Which wise advice would resolve all the issues of racism would be much simpler to understand if children were taught to believe?
Since it is unlawful to teach any Bible verses in public secular schools, would it be much simpler, wiser or foolish, for parents to vote for legislators in the next election who will support school choice or school vouchers. This will allow parents and teachers who object to critical race theory, and to avoid taxpayers to pay lawyers and courts to engage in lawsuits, to choose what is a more wise and simpler lesson to teach children how not to become racists.
If racism is a pandemic, would school vouchers be similar to having our children vaccinated?

Thank you for this great posts. It is very interesting for me as a German to read about the Discurs in USA. But do you really think, that you can learn something about it from the Bible? I think in such books anyone can find what fits him.

Thanks for your comment.
I agree with your statement, “that you can learn something about it from the Bible? I think in such books anyone can find what fits him.”
In my opinion, the Bible is a good fit for any person seeking a path of righteousness in life.
However, it takes time and effort to discern and understand the true meanings which in our contemporary times is almost a lost art.
