Why did John Wayne believe government promotes racism, inequity, and political divisiveness in our Nation> Should government end identification in the Census of racial and ethnic data from its citizens which in effect promotes political divisiveness?
I read a Citizen Tom blog post titled: Justice for Thee, But Not for Me. On the same day a reader of political divisiveness seven-year-old blog post of mine entered a “like” reader titled: King Solomon, John Wayne, Race Cards, Religion, Exultation
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate the various wise and foolish opinions and quotes to discern if government is indeed promoting racism and perpetrating political divisiveness on the issue of equity of government laws based on race.
King Solomon
Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all.
(Proverb 22:2)
By justice a king brings stability to the land, but a man who exacts tribute demolishes it. (Proverb 29:4)
Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to a people. (Proverb, 14:34)
What’s My Point?
John Wayne, who passed away in 1979, explained his opinion on a YouTube video to end people being identified about identifying its citizens as hyphenated Americas. For example, Black Americans, Mexican- or Latino Americans, White Americans, etc. etc. etc. Instead, everyone should say this is my country.
My point is here we are in five decades later reading news reports and opinions of the even worsening divisiveness in the USA about racism and inequities of government subsidies for minorities, illegal immigrants, etc., all because of the continued use of the Census Bureau and Congress mandates to include race identification in the census for a variety of reasons.
Now even worse political and social divisiveness is occurring in 2021 news of riots about the same issues of racism along with new government mandates of CRT, Critical Race Theory, and Intersectionality opinions being mandated by government and public schools must teach children theories found objectionable by parents is adding growing resentment of government be inequitable to people who are not minorities, skin colors, and ethnicity of Americans.
My point is to question that since the issue of racism and equity is worsening instead of bettering, perhaps we should give another listen to John Wayne opinions. As for Congress mandating that the Census include questions about race which is not a new issue of concern since there has been a lot of debate in the past is to question if the politicians’ reasons is to make use of the Census to redistrict voting districts to obtain power. Or in other words, if government census questions are fueling divisiveness, because it is obviously not working based on the news reports, should we discern that government is promoting racism in our Nation?
In My Opinion
There are other opinions that have been expressed on these issues of racism and treatment of fellow human beings regardless of skin color or ethnicity, war wealth reasons in the above Wisdom Proverbs of King Solomon.
Martin Luther King Jr.
“I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”
Theodore Roosevelt
“The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities,”
Matthew 7:12
“Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would those men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. “
John Wayne
“I don’t think we should look back and hold everybody guilty for what somebody else did.”
In other words, we need to question if government needs to change course to solve the problems of racism and inequity because it is obviously a failure based on what we are reading in the news.
Evan Sayci
First there was racism, then liberals created institutional racism. You can only hear it with a dog whistle.
Mark Twain
“We are all alike on the inside.”
In Other Words
We all need to question if government needs to change course to solve the problems of racism and inequity because it is obviously a failure based on what we are reading in the news.
Instead of government swinging back and forth experimenting with varied theories such as CRT and intersectionality, we need to draw upon the wisdom advice that are proven to be wise in history.
Mandating contemporary theories about sex and even pagan abortion practices which are opposite religious beliefs is folly.
It is time time for voters to elect legislators who will support school vouchers to allow parents affordability to choose to send their children to private religious schools to learn in depth religious values which have proven in history to teach goodwill among all negative racism theories or cults political and social divisiveness.
You Decide.
Should government end be identifying people by their ethnicity and instead by their character and deeds they achieve with discipline, morality and patriotism instead of skin color, ethnicity, or political power?
Should parents instead of government choose what is best taught to their children?
Should voter support legislators who refuse to support school choice and school vouchers?
Will Theodore Roosevelt’s quote and warning be prophetic in the future for the USA as a result of government and voter’s wisdom or folly?
Was John Wayne patriotic to our flag?

Intersectionality | Definition of Intersectionality at Dictionary.com
Racism is part of the human experience all through human history… and across all skin colors. Good luck fighting that. If the end goal is to apply more economic and social equity for racial minorities within our society.. then the first step is to start in the home… and that includes the homes of those minorities as well. If “we” can all accept that the average disenfranchised black family needs significant attention to actual parenting. It’s not easy.. it will take time over generations. This alone will not “defeat” human racism.. or stereotyping, or racial bias. But having a good self-respect will naturally garner respect from others,.

Racism, sexism, ethnocentrism of all kinds is promoted by those who believe people “need” to be led. At least that’s how they justify it. It is a way to keep a society under control. Like a pyramid scheme ( of castes ) each tier, smaller than the one below it, will suppress the lower ones to keep their place on the ladder. The whole thing maintains itself. That’s why cross caste marriages are vigorously punished. Each tier is a better fed dog than the one below it. The whole system is a manufactured convention imprinted on members of society from birth. It is false and goes against human nature. It also goes against the ideals of democracy.

Actually if what you are suggesting is some sort of caste system assigned down from time.. or “the ages” then it would hardy be AGAINST human nature at all. It’s a human trait to achieve some level of social status to gain some level of power.. whether that power is simple basic respect from your peers at work to acknowledge your prowess.. or you wanna be dictator of the nation to gain the power to take at whim for personal gain and dominate by fear and intimidation.
Quite obviously we consider the usual social respect kind of power we all desire within our sphere of family and friends as benign… but an authoritarian/dictator kind of political power is not conducive to a democratic form of government. As for this caste system.. who exactly is the “they” in all this? Who is directly benefitting from this “system” and in what way specifically?

It is definitely against human nature. Just because the technique of controlling people has been used for thousands of years, and imprinted into human behavior, does not make it natural. It just means those who rule are persistent.
