Which meaning will we clap for “a better way” in the next election?
I read a November 2020 Pre– Biden opinion blog today about the pros and cons or the present Afghanistan pullout after 20 years which ended with the following paragraph.
“I used to see a man walking the streets, every few steps he would clap his hands together. No one paid much attention to him. He would go about his daily walk while clapping. Once I asked him why he clapped his hands like that. He said, “It keeps the lions away.” I replied there aren’t any lions in these parts. “See, it works.” he said, and walked on down the street, occasionally clapping his hands.”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient wisdom verse and explanation of how clapping hands has changed since ancient times from disapproval to applause for interested readers to discern political wisdom and folly opinions over time.
What’s My Point?
My point is to discern if the USA now pro clapping our present political politicians in office leading our Nation while disapproving past politicians for the same decisions.
For example, back in November 2020, the writer wrote about Trumps’ decision to pull out of Afghanistan according to the Blog was a con opinion by a White House Staff General.
However, under Biden, it is a pro-opinion according to this CNN White House Secretary of Defense.
““The President was thoughtful and deliberate in considering a range of facts and advice before he made his decision to withdraw our remaining US forces from Afghanistan,” Kahl wrote to the Republicans in a previously unreported letter obtained by CNN.by the news media.”.
In My Opinion
When the next election arrives, I wonder if voters will clap their hands in the same ancient meaning prophesized in the following Bible explanations when we discern their pros and cons of the present political performances of President Joe Biden’s seven months in office.
For example, the pros and cons in this week’s news reports such as of the National Debt, inflation, high crime rates, drug addictions, broken borders, a new variant of Covid, amd what occurs in Afghanistan after the US leaves?
“Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place” (Job 27:23).
Which meaning will voters ‘clap’ for in the next election?
Will it be for the pros that Joe the pros of Presidient Joes accomplishments or for the ancient con meanings of words such as ‘maka’, nakah?’
Will it be for the pros and cons of the man in the paragraph reasoning of “see it works”?
Or should voters instead consider the following ending paragraph opinion of “a better way” to praise making use of the timeless Wisdom and Love Bible teachings how to access a person’s record of character and past accomplishments.
“Thus, all four of the Biblical words conveyed a negatively violent attitude, not one of approval or pleasure. A better way of appreciation could in many cases be simply a heartfelt vocal “Amen” or “Praise the Lord.” HMM
In other words, instead of clapping for fickle partisan politicians and news media writers’ opinions, vote for a candidate or political party record of accomplishments rather than their foolish “see it works” reasoning.
