Will the President and Governor’s green energy plans over time be judged in time to be a “happy accomplishment, or a season of “misery?”
The Chicago Tribune article titled: Power outages plague Porto Rico, reported what Is being experienced by the residents because of lack of power.
A second article titled: Surging natural gas prices may show up on winter bills, reported various reasons, one being that gas is a byproduct of oil drilling.
The conundrum is to question the plans of the present administration in power to phase out coal and gas in the future to accomplish their green energy policies and promises made to win the 2020 election.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate and ancient wisdom verse to this conundrum to discern if the present “misery” of lack of energy or high prices is an indication or warning of what is in store because of decisions being made without detailed plans to accomplish green energy.
|Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.|
Matthew Poole’s Commentary Ecclesiastes 8:6
There is time and judgment; there is a fit way and season for the happy accomplishment of every business which a man designed or undertakes to do, which is known to God, but for the most part hidden from man, as is implied and may be gathered from the following words. See Poole “Ecclesiastes 3:1“.
Therefore; because there are very few who have that wisdom which is necessary to discern this, as was now said, Ecclesiastes 9:5, and most men do by their ignorance and loss of opportunities deprive themselves of many advantages, and expose themselves to manifold miseries.
What’s My Point?
The above verses pertain to the belief that only God knows what is in store for the future. However, if we discern what is happening now to “man” in Europe, Porto Rico, and New York related to energy shortages as a result of the energy decisions being made by President Biden on oil drilling, gas becomes less plentiful, and the result is higher prices because of supply and demand.
My point is to wonder what are or were the detailed plans to support the decisions made by President Biden to accomplish green energy?
Or are politicians making decisions for political reasons to obtain vote to be elected?
In My Opinion
I do not believe there are any detailed plans to achieve green energy sufficient to meet present of future needs for business and homes..
In a previous post on the present shortages being experienced in Europe because of their green energy decisions are causing “misery” instead of a “happy accomplishment.”
Did we elect wisemen or empty suit politicians who make promises but have no means (or detailed plans) described by the proverb “as a man of straw with empty words and no resources?
Clouds and wind and no rain, a man who boasts about a non-existent gift. (Proverb 25:14).
As for the verse meaning about only God knows the future, should we perhaps we better start praying now for the wisdom to help us decide who to elect in the future who are not men of straw and capable to make detailed plans to prevent misery to the people they are supposed to represent?
Regards and goodwill blogging.
