Is the answer have anything to do with politicians, or the people they are supposed to represent regardless of skin color or ethnic backgrounds?
The Chicago Tribune top headline article titled: Chicago Gained Latino and Lost Blacks Residents in the 2020 Election, reported: Hispanic aldermen want new ward map to reflect population shift.
The Purpose of This Post

Excerpts – Constitutional Redistricting Report
Key Takeaways from This Report
The Constitution requires that each congressional district contain approximately the same population. This equality standard was set forth by the Supreme Court in a series of cases articulating the principle of “one person, one vote.” In order to comport with the equality standard, at least every 10 years, in response to changes in the number of Representatives or shifts in population, most states are required to draw new congressional district boundaries
Congressional districts are also required to comply with Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act (VRA), prohibiting any voting qualification or practice—including congressional redistricting plans—that results in the denial or abridgement of the right to vote based on race, color, or membership in a language minority. · Under certain circumstances, the VRA may require the creation of one or more “majority-minority” districts, in which a racial or language minority group comprises a voting majority. However, if race is the predominant factor in the drawing of district lines, then a “strict scrutiny” standard of review applies. In 2015, in Alabama Legislative Black Caucus v. Alabama, the Supreme Court set forth standards for determining whether race is a predominant factor in creating a redistricting map when considering a Fourteenth Amendment equal protection claim
What’s My Point?
The original reason for Constitutional redistricting is “one person, one vote”
The VRA. Voting Acts Amendment and Supreme Court added qualifications for race or ethnicity, in other words the founders of the Constitution premise for redistricting of one man one vote was changed by Congress to a supposedly progressive amendment.
In My Opinion
In a previous post titled: USA Voters Socrates Truth Test? I commented that most voters have no idea of who they are voting for when they look at a list of numerous names on the ballots and many vote on ethnic name recognition only. Probably for the same reason related to trust rather than voting skills which Socrates complained about in the first attempt of a Democrat Republic rule 2500 years ago that failed in time.
Anyone who ever grew up in Chicago learned ‘street smarts’ not to wander into an ethnic neighborhood to experience what happened to me when I was only seven years old and skated on roller skates into a racial divide area.
You can guess what happened to me if you imagine trying to defend yourself from an older boy attacking you when you are on roller skates.
In other words, in my opinion, the VRA passed in Congress by politicians that made provisions different from our founders one man one vote and allowed provisions for race or ethnicity provision needs to be deleted because it was folly that has since promoted politicians to represent race and ethnicity instead of one man one vote, all men are created equal as envisioned by our founders.
Same as the King Solomon proverb advice that all men have one thing in common regardless of how they pronounce tomayto or tomahto.
And the sooner we change the VRA back to one man one vote, politicians will be elected to represent one man one vote instead of one race one ethnicity interest.
And the sooner we elect legislators to pass school choice or school vouchers, to teach Cristian any values of” do unto others as you want done to yourself, the future of Chicago and our Nation will have a better chance to unite and survive from the major reason every other Democrat Republic in history has failed. Related to the following verses:
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)
Then I turned my thoughts to consider wisdom, and also madness and folly. What more can the king’s successor do than what has already been done? (Ecclesiastes 2:12)
In other words, redistricting by color of skin or ethnicity allows politicians to become Kings ruling fiefdoms and bickering with other Kings instead of representing the best interest of all which is to have the two main interests in mind in, which has served to unite every Nation in time to survive. Love of, God, Man and Nation.

Should the VRA be change back to one man one vote so politicians and voters can no longer play the race card to be elect who to trust rather than skill in voting and representing the interests of their districts instead of race or ethnicity interests.
Will the future be proven brighter in Chicago and our Nation when anyone regardless of skin color or ethnicity can trust that if they walk, ride, or roller-skate into any neighborhood the residents will trust rather than attack us because of the color of our skin, or the way we pronounce tomayto, I say tomahto when we say good morning to them as we pass though their neighborhoods because we all have one common, the same Maker.
