Which two words will afford a far more effective reversal of carbon emissions occurring in the world?
The Chicago Tribune – AP article titled: Global Leaders Vow to Protect Forests, reported the following to reduce climate change:
“The U.K. said it has received pledges from leaders representing more than 85% of the world’s forests to halt and reverse deforestation by 2030. Among them are several countries with massive forests, including Brazil, China, Colombia, Congo, Indonesia, Russia and the United States.”
“More than $19 billion in public and private funds have been pledged toward the plan.”
“Experts and observers said fulfilling the pledge will be critical to limiting climate change, but many noted that such grand promises have been made before — to little effect.”
“Signing the declaration is the easy part,” U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres said on Twitter. “It is essential that it is implemented now for people and planet.”
`I sought to cheer my body with wine and to embrace folly—my mind still guiding me with wisdom—until I could see what was worthwhile for men to do under heaven during the few days of their lives. I expanded my pursuits. I built houses and planted vineyards for myself. I made gardens and parks for myself, where I planted all kinds of fruit trees.(Ecclesiastes 2:2-5)

The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient wisdom proverb, an idiom, and a Spiritual belief to the Wisdom of planting trees to reduce carbon emissions in the world to clean the air we breathe.
Clean air is my concern because I listened to both sides of the climate change and decided that I lack the qualifications to discern if the world is experiencing rising temperature cycle, or we humans are the speeding up the cycle same as what the world has experienced numerous times since the beginning of time.
This much I do know, whether or not we humans are responsible for earth warming in our contemporary times, or in past times active volcanoes which emit vast amounts of carbon warmed up the earth’s atmosphere to cause global warming, anything we do to improve the cleanliness of air we breathe is better for our lungs.
My point is the truth that massive deforestation has been taking place in Brazil and other forest of the earth in my lifetime. the Brazilian forests have been described as “the lungs of the world.”
The conundrum is wonder why it is taking the world so long to emulate the Spiritual reason why King Solomon planted every tree in his garden?
In My Opinion
In our contemporary times the need for energy to power homes, industry, and cars in order to survive has changed considerably from ancient times. The present path to reduce carbon emission from solar, wind, and natural elements will take years and require massive earth elements to be mined and built and may never be sufficient to rely on to power future needs for poser as populations expand.
The article statement that many world nations have sign an agreement to pledge to stop deforestation, yet sign is the easy part and pledges or grand agreements have been broken before is worrisome.
In my opinion, 19 billion dollars is a paltry sum in comparison to the present devastations occurring of massive wildfires taking place now in the world. Add that the grand plans to change from oil, gas, fossil using present industrial methods to generate power will take decades to replace and may never be sufficient even int the future.
In other words, as the idiom implies, in my opinion, ending deforestation and planting billions of trees should be more than a pledge which may never be implemented should be one of the tops “low hanging fruit” priorities in the world. Add that 19 billion dollars is peanuts compared to the trillions now be planned in a grand scale……. which may never be sufficient in the future.
Regardless of whether we believe global warming is a fact or myth, would it be both practical and Spiritual to focus on ending deforestation and planting trees as a first, low hanging fruit option to clean up the air in the world and hopefully reverse global warming fact or myth.
If after reading the Source Links below, should the two words conundrum of “end deforestation” or, “plant trees” be the first “easiest,” and “low hanging fruit.” and wisest answer to the conundrum to clean the air we breathe into our lungs, which most doctors know to be the leading cause of lung cancers, etc. ,,,,,,whether in ancient or contemporary times?
