Interested how Politicians perpetuate racial segregation in Chicago and our Nation by playing the race card ward redistricting dance?

The Chicago Tribune article titled: Aldermen take no vote on controversial new ward map, vow more public input, reported:

“Chicago aldermen essentially gave themselves a do-over on the ward remap saga Wednesday, sailing past an arbitrary deadline and setting a series of meetings stretching into January to let Chicago residents provide input into the new boundaries.”

“Black and Latino aldermen had ramped up their angry rhetoric toward one another as Wednesday approached, treating it as an important day in the once-a-decade fight to redraw the 50 ward boundaries based on new U.S. census figures.”

The Purpose of This Post

Is to relate and ancient proverbs, and quotes, for interested readers to understand how to ward race card dance began and what let “Chicago residents” need to do to “provide input into the new boundaries,” in my opinion, of end the dance in Chicago and our Nation.”

 King Solomon

 Do away with any talk that twists and distorts the truth;
have nothing to do with any verbal trickery.
Keep your head up, your eyes straight ahead,
and your focus fixed on what is in front of you. (Proverbs 4:24-25)

The rich and the poor have this in common, The LORD is the maker of them all. (Proverb 22:2)

Quote Excerpts – Martin Luther King Dream Speech

“Now is the time to make real the promise of democracy.

Now it the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice.

Now it the time to lift our nation from the quicksand of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.”

What’s My Point?

In a previous post titled: Political Racist Power Districts Conundrum, I explained how the root cause of racism being perpetuated resulted from the 1963 Voting Rights Act which change the founder’s belief of one man on vote to allow redistricting by race or language.

In My Opinion

The solution to end racism in Chicago, a city planned after the Chicago Fire to have straight lines streets from east to west is to only allow redistricting wards to be narrow boundaries from the east to the West based on one man one vote population.

Because the east side border Lake Michigan and the property values are highest where the rich and affluent reside in comparison to the West properties, politicians’ wards will result in the rich and poor living side by side.

The truth is apparent to any reader of the article that the ward dance is in actuality a war on racism and power by color of skin instead of one man and one vote founders dream of a Democrat Republic Nation to end power of rulers and wealth.

You Decide

If after reading, is now the time to end racism power dance being used by politicians to obtain power in the USA by returning to one man one vote instead of by race or color of skin and wealth.

Is ward alderman supposed to use red lines to represent everyone in their wards by their interest and needs instead of their skin color or wealth?

Same for all politicians in our Nation, is now the time for voters to wise up to understand how to solve this conundrum and vote according the same dreams of our founders and this this quote:

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by their character.”
