Was fear of green energy a motive for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine? If so, will other fossil fuel Nations in the future to repeat the same follies of famine and war?.
News sources, news pundits, and psychology theories are spreading opinions on the reason why Putin invaded Ukraine. However, none have honed in on another perspective linked to what happens when Oil producing Nations presently profiting and dependent on exporting oil or fossil fuels experience the future that their main export is no longer in demand.
For example, if a Nation such as Russia now mainly profiting from fossil fuel exports in a global economy and depend on food imports in the future, what else can they export that would provide their future need to pay for food or vital goods and services in the future? Ukraine is a bread basket, mineral exporting Nation and Putin realizes the future need for Russia for food and vital equipment and services.
Or in other words, is Putin fear that green energy in the future will reduce the chances of diminished power and wealth sin the future from the possibility of food famine in Russia as a result of green energy one more reason why he invaded Ukraine.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient wisdom belief about famine and a verse as a clue to this conundrum.
As for all the people who remained of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites (the people who were not Israelites)— their descendants who remained in the land, those whom the Israelites were unable to devote to destruction— Solomon conscripted these people to be forced laborers, as they are to this day. But Solomon did not consign any of the Israelites to slavery, because they were his men of war, his servants, his officers, his captains, and the commanders of his chariots and cavalry ( 1 Kings 9:20-22)
And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done. (Ecclesiastes 2:12)
Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. (Ecclesiastes 1:2 KJV)
What’s My Point?
Leaders who do not understand the story of King Solomon observations of his life before he realized his follies and composed Ecclesiastes appear doomed to repeating making the same mistakes.
My point is if Putin’s reason why is related to green energy fears, is now the time to begin considering what are vital needs of other fossil fuel exporters of energy chances of starting war if green energy sources serve to diminish their present power and wealth in the future? Will other Nation leaders repeat Putin’s invasion to obtain sources of food and vital commodities and services to maintain their present wealth and power?
In My Opinion
Whatever is the reason or motives of Putin for invading Ukraine, he is making the same mistake of vanity as King Solomon observed and as a host of leaders documented in history who invade other Nations. Believing that it is best interests for themselves, or the power and future of their Nations’ needs to feed for vital goods or services or personal vanities.
If we read an article of ancient beliefs of God curses for man’s disobedience to His laws as causes of famine and wars. In our contemporary times, many laugh at ancient religious beliefs as causes of famines and wars that occurred in documented history that drives millions of people to change and become refugees in other Nations.
Yet should we consider that what is being repeated today in Ukraine is another example of nothing new under the sun observation made by King Solomon three thousand years ago.
Or this conundrum, if true, should it be addressed now to prevent the next series of wars that may occur if green energy ever diminishes the wealth and power of other present Nation’s dependent on fossil fuel exports in the present globalism economies?
In other words, should we all study in depth the Wisdom and Love in the Bible to understand and gain knowledge of human vanities to prevent famine and wars reasons in the future based on the follies of human choices to believe they are as wise as their Maker and repeat the same follies over and over again in every generation.

Is what is occurring now in Ukraine a repeat of the same follies of King Solomon leadership 3000 years ago and a host of others than followed after his death??
Will understanding of the teachings of wisdom and love in the Bible help prevent famines, wars, and conundrums in the future as a result of human vanities recorded in history and being repeated in our contemporary times?
