Is it because they can afford to, lack confidence in public schools,  or know or believe their children need ………?

I read two articles that address this conundrum…One focused on Politicians and the other on teachers who choose to send their children to private schools instead of public schools which should make us wonder if they know something the average citizen does not know.

The Purpose of This Post

Is to relate an ancient wisdom proverb, two idioms to discern, and the articles for interested readers to decide if they could choose and/or afford to make the same choice which is legally possible, should or would they choose to do the same.

King Solomon

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, (Ecclesiastes Chapter Three Excerpts)

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it. (Proverb 22:6)

Idiom – the time is now

cliché an action must or should be undertaken presently and immediately if the desired outcome is to be achieved.

Idiom – that ship has sailed

Some possibility or option is no longer available or likely.

What’s My Point?

There is total scientific and philosophical agreement that the most impressionable and vulnerable time to teach children is early youth through 8th grade.

The Supreme Court ruled in 2020 that State laws to prohibit tax fund to be used for private religious schools enacted shortly after the Civil War were unconstitutional.

All that is required now in every State is for parents to vote for legislators who will support school choice or school vouchers in their States.

My point is twofold.

First. We all have limited time to experience the seasons in life. Once the right time passes, there is no turning back time and both the opportunities diminish or are lost same as when you drive in the wrong direction or wrong path we embark on in life.

Second – Ever since government took control of education, over time the costs to education have become the highest tax item on every real estate bill which taxpayers must pay for all their lives.

Everyone should know that any endeavor government enters to manage eventually winds up costing more than private enterprise. What has occurred over time is the majority of poor and middle-class families cannot afford to pay two tuitions, one to fund public secular schools and one to fund private schools which is a form of government control rather than freedom of choice for the majority of Americans.

In My Opinion,

Every voter and parent should query the legislators up for election in the upcoming election to support school choice or school vouchers because now is the season to plant the right path for youth and our Nation the right path to follow in life.

Anyone who reads or hears the news of what is now occurring in the USA should realize that something is lacking in the government run public secular school system when youth are shooting and killing each other in rising rates without any remorse or second thoughts.

There is absolutely no reason anymore that taxpayers should be prevented from choosing which school is best for their child. Everyone should have the same opportunity the majority of politicians and public-school teachers. Yet not be able to afford to do the same because of after all, it is their taxes funding public schools, not governments fund.

You Decide

If a government survey was conducted to compare how many convicted criminals attended a private religious s a government secular school, would more voters vote for school choice or school vouchers.

Should parents consider this following wisdom verse observed three thousand years ago which may result if they allow the season of the right time to teach their children to prevent what many parents are now experiencing even though their child may have been an innocent victim of other parents upbrings and choices?

A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son brings grief to his mother. (Proverb 10:1)
