Is it possible to understand why innocent victims suffered the pain and suffering they experienced?

The Chicago Tribune article titled: Heroism and Healing – Highland Park parade survivors speak of mass shooting and its aftermath, reported:

“All told, 48 people were shot in addition to the seven killed, according to the Lake County state’s attorney’s office. Bobby Crimo III, 21, is being held without bail at the Lake County Jail on seven counts of first-degree murder.

The Purpose of This Post

Is to relate an ancient wisdom verse and a Catholic explanation statement about pain and suffering to this conundrum

“The simple answer to Why does God allow suffering? is really impossible until we first have a solid understanding of the nature of sin and evil

King Solomon

Then I applied myself to the understanding of wisdom, and also of madness and folly, but I learned that this, too, is a chasing after the wind. (Ecclesiastes 1:17)

I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9:11)

So, I…concluded that…all share a common destiny—the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all…(we) join the dead. – Ecclesiastes 9:1-3

What’s My Point?

The above verses are observations made by King Solomon 3000 years ago.

Most people will never be taught in youth the wisdom of King Solomon and the Bible teachings to understand of the nature of sin and evil in order to avoid repeating the same mistakes of past generations.

Pain and suffering will be experienced in the lifetimes of every human born at some time in life. Some the result of their own personal choices to choose evil and some will become random victims of evil choice of others.

My point is without ever being taught a solid understanding of the nature of sin and evil, there will always be a higher risk of innocent Highland Park victims experienced.

For example, the Highland Park shooter admitted to being high on drugs when hie inflicted carnage of his victims.

Our present legislators by passing a Bill to allow recreational marijuana to become legal has increased the number of users to be exposed to mind altering drugs which the Highland Park shooter admittedly was under the influence when he inflicted  pain and suffering on innocent victims.

In My Opinion,

The motto of my blog is as follows

What the world needs now in addition to love is wisdom. We are the masters of our own disasters.

In my opinion, we need to change to allow school choice and school vouchers to reduce the risk of innocent victims

Having to endure the pain and suffering of a random shooter under the influence of a mind-altering drug that fuel him to believe he needed to inflict pain and suffering.

Because he was never taught to understand the nature of good and evil choices, we all will make in our lifetimes if we have never been introduced to understand the wisdom and Love lessons in the Bible.

You Decide

Are the legislatures you intend to vote for in the upcoming election have and understanding of the nature of good and evil is not being taught to our youth in public secular schools and to support the return of affordability of parents to choose what schools will better teach their children the nature of good vs evil?

Dees the legislator have an understanding the Wisdom and Love lessons in the Bible to help their children avoid making the same foolish choices of previous generations which have in history repeatedly resulted in pain and suffering by innocent victims?

Same as what King Solomon observed 3000 years ago and predicted men will do in this following verse

Then I turned my thoughts to consider wisdom, and also madness and folly. What more can the king’s successor do than what has already been done? (Ecclesiastes 2:12)
