Are the pestilence and disease recorded in the Bible proof of our Gods wrath, or His Wisdom and Love moral compass to help guide us to make free will wise instead of foolish choices.  When millions of humans calling out prayers every minute or hour asking Him to intercede on their behalf to heal or change their circumstance, or create a miracle, many the result of foolish free will choices made by themselves or other human foolish choices, how does he choose which one to hear and respond to favor??????

The Chicago Tribune today has numerous articles about the problems described and selected to be reported today taking place in our Nation and world in the past 24 hours or years past. Most the result of foolish free will choices we humans have made and/or are still making or repeating same as previous generations, which ended up ion misery or death to others.

The Purpose of This Post

Is to relate an ancient wisdom verse, and an idolum, which many faith believers have about God, some who may believe in God’s wrath for sinning for humans who sin against Him and disobey His Commandments. While others challenge faith believers with the philosophical question, if their God is a Loving God, why does He allow His creations to suffer.

King Solomon

Ecclesiastes 11:5 (NIV)

As you do not know the path of the wind,

or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb,

so, you cannot understand the work of God,

the Maker of all things.

Proverbs 16:9 – A man’s heart devised his way: but the LORD directed his steps.

Proverbs 19:21 – There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless, the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

What’s My Point?

I believe God has a plan which no human is capable of understanding and has provided a guide or moral compass to help us human creations to make wise rather than foolish free will choices.

Some choices are related to foolish sins than may result in causing suffering for both themselves and affecting innocent victims who follow the moral compass of the Bible teachings and guidance.

My point is, I surmise that God’s plan and power is to listen to every prayer but not to answer and intercede to the pleas of millions of petitions he must hear every second or hour from billions of humans living on the earth He created, which would require God to intercede and answer. instead of humans making use of his moral compass He provided.

In My Opinion

After reading a blog post titled: What is the Wrath of God – Citizen Tom and Michael Wilson WordPress Blogs, I read up on numerous philosophical articles and opinions on the subject of God’s wrath vs love faith beliefs.

The above wisdom proverbs written three thousand years ago from the observations made by King Solomon appear to me to have answered the question. The same question which every generation has probably wondered about since the beginning of time, and that King Solomon realized and wrote in Ecclesiasts.

In other words, while we humans are not capable, or ever will understand God’s plans and powers in our lifetime, we can surmise that if we have the freedom of free will to make wise or foolish choices in our lifetimes, the choices we make may result in both good and bad results for others than ourselves.

For example, Putin decided to invade Ukraine this year that is now causing earthly destruction, human misery, death, suffering to innocent victims in the whole world as a result of his free will choice.

God is now hearing the prayers from billions of humans. If we consider over time if His plan is to intercede to create a miracle to answer every prayer, the majority caused by foolish choices of humans, what would his plan of humans to have free will to make wise or foolish choices only to busy himself every second to intercede with miracles to answer the prayers he hears?

Perhaps included in God’s plans was to provide us humans the Bible to use and teach ourselves and our children guidance, a moral compass to use to understand and gain knowledge of the wisdom and love in our lives.

And when our short lifespans end on the earth he created, to judge us individually for the stories we created in our lives and reward us for how we chose wise or foolishly choices in order to enter his reward us to enter his Kingdom.

In other words, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

As for the power of prayers to hopefully result in miracles, who knows??????

Perhaps if God hears the louder sounds from many prayers on or for an issue ,rather than just one person’s prayers, He may be more likely to choose to intercede in a similar way of the wisdom of this following idiom.

Idiom – “Squeaky wheels get the most grease” ??????,
